Operation Guide

Multi-Function Button (MFB)

• Press for 3 seconds: Toggles the headset's LED lighting on or off. ?
• Tap (x1): Switches between sound modes. The headset will announce "surround sound on" for 7.1 Surround Sound or "surround sound off" for Stereo Sound. ?

Volume Control Wheel

• Scroll upward: Increases the volume. ➕
• Scroll downward: Decreases the volume. ➖

Mic Mute Button

• Tap (x1): Toggles the microphone's mute status on or off. ?

1. Immersive 7.1 Surround Sound

Experience an immersive gaming environment with the built-in 50mm magnetic neodymium driver and a dedicated 7.1 surround sound chip. Connect using the included Type-C or 3.5mm audio cables to activate 7.1 surround sound by default.

For enhanced audio customization, users can download the 7.1 driver from the official EKSA website at https://www.eksa.net/download. Please note that the EKSA 7.1 surround sound driver is exclusively compatible with Windows operating systems.

The headset supports various sound profiles, including deep bass, FPS optimization, MOBA optimization, and custom settings, catering to different gaming genres and preferences. It also provides Stereo Sound for music listening.

2. AI-Powered Environmental Noise Cancellation

This advanced technology effectively reduces up to 96% of background noise, ensuring crystal-clear in-game communication. The headset utilizes a dual microphone array, comprising a call microphone and a noise-identifying microphone, to accurately pinpoint the source of sounds and isolate desired voice input, thereby protecting the target voice during gameplay.

4. One Key Sound Mode Switch

Conveniently located on the ear shell, this button allows for straightforward switching between 7.1 surround sound (for gaming) and stereo sound (for music). Users will receive an audible voice prompt confirming the mode change, such as "surround sound on" or "surround sound off".

USB Sound Setting

To ensure your EKSA Star Engine headset functions as the default audio device on your computer:

For PC (Windows):

Follow these steps: Navigate to [Control Panel] → [Hardware and Sound] → [Sound]. Select [E5000 Pro] from the list and click [Set as Default Device]. ✔️

For Mac:

Follow these steps: Open [System Preferences] → [Sound]. Under the [Input] tab, select [E5000 Pro]. Under the [Output] tab, also select [E5000 Pro]. ✔️

How to Use?

PlayStation® 4:

To achieve the best performance with a PS®4, connect one end of the Type-C cable to your headset and the other end to a USB extension cable. Then, connect the USB interface of the extension cable to your PS®4 controller. Follow the steps below for audio output settings:

Steps for USB Connection:

Access console settings: [Settings] → [Audio Devices] → [Output to Headphones] → [All Audio].

Steps for 3.5mm Connection:

Access console settings: [Settings] → [Audio Devices] → [Output to Headphones] → [All Audio].

Xbox® One S/X:

If you wish to connect this EKSA headset to an Xbox® One S/X, please note that an additional Microsoft adapter is required, which is not included in the box.

Guide for Xbox® Users:

If the controller has a 3.5mm jack: No adapter is required for connection.

If the controller does not have a 3.5mm jack: A Microsoft adapter is necessary for connection.
