How to use Digital Torque Angle Adaptor 3/8"D Torque Adaptor 1. When you start the adaptor the indicator flashes GREEN. 2. When you reach 20% from target the adaptor will flash YELLOW and an intermittent buzzer will be heard. 3. When the target is reached a RED light will appear and the buzzer is continuous. Peak and Trace With the adaptor switched on by pressing the P/T button you can select Peak or Trace. Peak " " This will give the value as detailed above. Trace " " This will show the increase in increments on the display until the targeted value is reached. Angle Functions 1. Place the adapter on a flat surface. 2. Press and release "ANG/TOQ" button. 3. The LCD panel will show "00000" followed by "0°". 4. Turn wrench either clockwise or counter clockwise. 5. The LCD panel shows the angle value measured (CCW: -5°, -6°, ...-20°etc) (CW: 5°, 6°, ...20° etc). Angle Value 1. To increase, press and hold the (+) button to increase the current target value. The target value will appear for 10 seconds. 2. To decrease, press and hold the (-) button to decrease the current target value. 3. The target value will show for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds the value returns to "0°". Memory (automatically saves) Torque reading - each pre - set can save 10 sets of readings. Angle reading - stores 50 sets of memory of angle/torque readings. To display the Memory Torque Reading 1. Press MEM for 1 sec. 2. Press (+) or (-) to read stored readings (M1, M2, etc). Angle Reading 3. Press MEM & (+) for 1 sec (LCD shows "P/T". 4. Press (+) or (-) to read stored readings (r1, r2, etc). 5. Press MEM & (+) returns to Torque function ("P"). Turn off power. 2. Remove the 2 Ph1 screws from the square plate on the drive side of the adaptor. 3. Remove the batteries and discard in accordance with local authority guide lines. 4. Replace the batteries with Negative (-) end towards the spring. 5. Replace the cover & screws. Power On 1. Press the ( ) button. 2. After 2 seconds the adaptor will show 0.0 and the torque measurement selected. 3. By pressing MEM and P/T together you can scroll through the selection of torque measurements, stopping at the selected torque required. Select Target Torque Value 1.
