Product Overview

The FindTag FT1 is a device designed for tracking and locating personal items. It utilizes the Apple Find My network for its functionality.

Key components include a Buzzer for audible alerts and a Power button for device operation.

Quick Instructions

  1. Turn on the device: Press and hold the button for 5 seconds. The device will beep and turn on.
  2. Open the Apple 'Find My' app.
  3. Navigate to Items, then Add New Item, and select Other Supported Item.
  4. During the search, a device labeled FT1 will appear. Select it.
  5. Click on the found device in the app and name it.
  6. Device Functions:
    • Play Sound: Click 'Play Sound' to make the device emit music for easy location.
    • Lost Mode: If the device is out of Bluetooth range, you can enable Lost Mode to provide contact information. If another iPhone is nearby, the owner's Find My app can receive notifications and the latest location.
  7. Delete Device: Select 'Remove item' in the app to delete the device.

Instructions For Device Operation

  1. Power On: From sleep mode, press and hold the button for five seconds. The device will play a sound and turn on.
  2. Device Status Confirmation: Double-click the device button twice. A sound indicates the device is on. No sound means it's in sleep mode.
  3. Pairing Mode Timeout: If no pairing occurs within 10 minutes, the device exits pairing mode. Click the button once to re-enter pairing mode.
  4. Serial Number Lookup: Press the button 6 times within 2 seconds to enter a serial number read state.
  5. Factory Reset: With the device on, double-click the button, then immediately press and hold for approximately 8 seconds until a second sound is heard.
  6. Shutdown Sleep Mode: When the device is on, press the button 5 times within 2 seconds to enter sleep mode.

  • 'Find' Network Positioning: When the device is out of Bluetooth range, it can be located via the Find My network.
  • Play Sound: Within Bluetooth range (approx. 20 meters), the device can emit a sound to help locate it.
