The KUGOO electric scooter has the following main parts:

SAFETY
- The product is for adults only, limited for one adult. Do not carry two adults at the same time. Not suitable for minors.
- Please wear a safety helmet and other protective equipment when riding.
- Do not ride in traffic lanes or unsafe roads, and do not break local regulations.
- Please exercise in wide areas and ride after skilled manipulation. Do not ride in traffic lanes.
- Do not make any dangerous actions when riding or riding with one hand. Keep your feet on the scooter.
- Do not attempt to ride the scooter on stairs that are above 3 cm; it may overturn the scooter causing injury or damage. Please try to avoid stairs smaller than 3 cm as well, as they may also cause injury or damage.
- The scooter's highest speed is 30 Km/h. For your safety, please limit the speed within 20 Km/h. If you must ride at night, please limit the speed within 15 K/h or less and turn on the headlight.
- Do not use the scooter when the temperature is lower than -5 °C.
- Please slow down or get off when riding in rough or poor road conditions.
- Do not ride the scooter on oily or icy surface terrain.
- Please adjust the height of the handlebar according to your height to ensure safe riding.
- Do not immerse the scooter in water with a depth of 4 cm or spray it directly with water to avoid damage to the electrical parts of the vehicle.
- Please try to avoid riding in bad weather such as heavy rain and high winds to protect the scooter.
PRODUCTS / FOLDING STAGE
The scooter can be folded in stages:
- A - unfolded
- B - folding handlebars
- C - fully folded
Folding steps
- Open the lock lever in the direction of the arrow, as shown in figure (a).
- Press the red button (figure b) and simultaneously press down the handlebars as shown in figure (c), then push the lock lever to the lock position.
- Hold the handlebar with both hands, press buttons (1) shown in Figure (d). Pull out the handlebar grips, figure d, to a maximum and fold downwards to reach figure B (from the previous page).
- Push the handlebar forward, press the folding lever in the direction of the arrow in figure (f).
- Continue folding the scooter until the folding hook reaches and hangs the bolt located on the rear brake.
Unfolding steps
- Press the rear brake in the direction of the arrow in figure (a) until the folding hook releases the bolt located on the rear brake. Then, lift the handlebar until it reaches the working position and the locking bolt comes into place, as shown in figure (b).
- Raise the two handles of the handlebar until they automatically return to the work position, figure (c).
- Push the lock lever in the direction of the arrow in Figure (d) and lift the handlebars to the desired height. Now press the button shown in Figure (e) and fix it in one of the two holes, as desired.
OPERATION
1. Introduction of Handlebar parts
The handlebar features the following controls:
- 1. Thumb Accelerator
- 2. Thumb Electronic Magnetic Brake
- 3. Horn Button
- 4. Setting Button
- 5. Switch Button
- 6. Light Button
- 7. LCD Display
- 8. Speed level
2. Operating Instructions
- a. ON/OFF: Press the switch for 1 second for power on. The display lights will indicate power is on. Press for 3 seconds to turn it off. It will turn off automatically after 3 minutes of inactivity.
- b. Speed control: Press the right thumb accelerator to control the speed (1-30km/h). There are three speed levels, and you can press the Speed Level button to change them.
- c. Braking Control: Press the left thumb electronic magnetic brake. The greater the angle you press, the greater the braking force will be.
- d. Horn: Turn on the power, press the horn button, and it will hoot.
- e. LED Headlight: Press the Light button when needed. A sign will appear on the display indicating the light is on. Press the button again when you no longer need the light.
- f. Mileage Show: When powered on, it displays three modes: total, trip, and time. You can press the settings button to change between them. When displaying the 'trip' mode, press the setting button for 3 seconds to clear the trip data. (Single stroke accumulated more than 100 belongs to 100).
- g. Emergency: In an emergency, stamping the rear foot brake can simultaneously engage the front electronic magnetic brake and the rear wheel friction brake. Under normal circumstances, please do not use the emergency brake at high speed to avoid wheel damage. The company shall not be responsible for such damage. Please repair it at your own cost.
3. Display Factory Setting
There are 5 buttons: Horn button (K5), Setting button (K4), Switch button (K3), Light button (K2), Speed Level (K1).
Press K5 and K4 for 3 seconds to enter the parameter table.
- a. K5 button: Short press to return to the running state; the modification is not effective.
- b. K4 button: Short press to move to the next parameter. Press and hold for more than 2 seconds to save changes and return to the running state.
- c. K3 button: Not effective.
- d. K2 button: Short press to reverse adjust the parameter.
- e. K1 button: Short press to adjust the parameter.

RIDING OPERATION
Ready
- Choose a suitable venue for riding.
- Expand the scooter in accordance with the description.
- Adjust the T-pipe to the suitable height according to your height.
Start
- Press the power button to turn on the power.
- Stand on the scooter with one foot and keep the other foot on the ground.
- Gently press down on the right thumb accelerator. The scooter will immediately move forward slowly. Place the foot that was on the ground onto the pedal after smooth riding. The greater the angle you press the right thumb accelerator, the faster the scooter will go.
Brake
- Under normal circumstances, pressing the left thumb electronic magnetic brake will immediately de-energize and then brake the scooter. The greater the angle you press, the greater the braking force will be.
- In an emergency, stamping the rear foot brake can simultaneously engage the electronic magnetic front brake and the rear wheel friction brake. Under normal circumstances, please do not use the emergency brake at high speed.
BATTERY AND CHARGER
Each KUGOO electric scooter is equipped with a special lithium battery and a special smart charger. Accessories carried with each scooter have a dedicated number. Please do not use chargers from other brands, as they may not be compatible. If the battery or charger is damaged due to this, the company shall not be responsible.
Battery
- When you first receive the KUGOO electric scooter, please charge the battery fully before using it.
- The battery can be charged at any time. To ensure the battery has power, it will not charge if it is damaged.
- Please charge the battery once every three months if it is not in use.
- Damage to the battery due to water, collision, or other non-normal factors is not covered under warranty.
Charger
The company provides a dedicated charger with a charging protection function. When the battery is 100% charged, the charger will automatically stop charging. Charging time is no more than 3 hours.

Charge Description
- Open the charging hole rubber protective cover and insert the charger connector into the charging hole.
- Connect the charger plug into the power socket.
- A red charger light indicates charging is in progress; the charger light turns green when the battery is fully charged.
MAINTENANCE
Lubricating
- Please add a small amount of grease or lubricant to the folded position every six months.
- Please check the scooter every three months to see if the screws are loose. If they are, tighten them.
Battery
The lithium battery provided by the company can be recharged at least 500 times. Under normal use, it can reach more than 1,000 times. If the travel distance is too short after a full charge, the lithium battery may need to be replaced.
Placement and daily care
- Do not expose the scooter to the sun for too long or leave it in other very damp places. Please keep the scooter clean.
GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING
Checklist
When the products have any problems, please refer to the following methods:
- LED display black screen
Reason: Exposure under the sun for too long.
Solution: Place it in a shadow, and it will return to normal after a period. - Values appeared do not fit the actual values
Reason: Parameters are set incorrectly or missing.
Solution: Please reset the display factory settings following the instructions. - Digital display dim
Reason: Bad battery contacts or the battery is dead.
Solution: Turn off the power, then restart again. If the problem still occurs, please contact your local reseller.
When the product does not operate normally, check the following:
- a. Battery is turned on.
- b. Check the battery via the display to see if there is electricity.
- c. Left thumb electronic brake and rear brake are in place.
- d. All jacks and connectors are linked accurately.
If the above steps are completed and the product still does not operate normally, please contact your local vendor or reseller.

Note: Please follow the correct way to use KUGOO products. The company shall not be responsible for parts damage or other damages caused by abnormal use.
In the warranty period, malfunctions and damages caused by the following reasons are not within the scope of quality assurance:
- Improper maintenance and repair not in accordance with the instruction manual.
- Using the electric scooter for other purposes, such as performing dangerous actions, resulting in damage or functional failure.
- Disassembly or use of any external factory components.
- Wrong uses, traffic accidents, or accidental collisions that damage the body and its parts.
- Insufficient stickers, water ingress, or parts numbers not matching.
- Riding on non-normal roads causing damage or failure to use.
- Operating rental of improper use or non-licensed use.
- Force majeure or irresistible reasons.
