Installation Guide

Overview:
Altronix Netway3024P provides simultaneous 24VDC and PoE/PoE+ outputs for applications including PoE cameras and external microphones, control boards, switching equipment, and more. For 12VDC @ up to 2A see model NetWay3012P.

Installation Instructions:
Wiring methods shall be in accordance with the National Electrical Code/NFPA 70/ANSI, and with all local codes and authorities having jurisdiction. 1. Mount NetWay3024P in proximity to IP device utilizing mounting hole (Fig. 1, pg. 2).
Use a proper fastener and/or wall anchor when securing NetWay3024P to the wall. 2. Connect structured cable from port marked [PoE IN] on NetWay3024P to port marked [OUT] of PoE Switch or
Midspan (Fig. 1, pg. 2). 3. Connect structured cable from port marked [PoE OUT] on NetWay3024P to the IP device (Fig. 1, pg. 2). 4. Connect 24VDC output from NetWay3024P terminals marked [+ 24VDC Output ­] to the power input of the IP
device (Fig. 1, pg. 2). Polarity must be observed. 5. Power LED indicator will illuminate on NetWay3024P under normal conditions (Fig. 1, pg. 2).
