Safety First

Installation must comply with the latest IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671) and Building Regulations. Always isolate mains power before installation or maintenance. Ensure circuit loads do not exceed cable or breaker ratings. Note the IP rating for appropriate location selection. Specific warnings are in place for USB, Bluetooth, dimmers, and LED indicators regarding high voltage testing.

Installation Guidance

Follow diagrams carefully, ensuring correct polarity (Live-Brown, Neutral-Blue, Earth-Green/Yellow). All earth connections must be secure. For screwless designs, the front plate can be detached and re-clipped. Metal clad units require mounting the back box first. USB charging ports are designed for portable devices and include overload protection.

USB Charging & Bluetooth

Products with USB chargers are for charging portable devices only. Some models feature a charging indicator light. Bluetooth speaker models require pairing via a mobile device, with specific instructions for connection and operation.

Dimmers & Switches

Dimmers require compatibility checks with LED lamps and adherence to minimum/maximum load ranges. Minimum dimming levels can be adjusted. Various switch types, including 2-way, intermediate, fan isolators, fused spurs, and 45A DP switches, are detailed with wiring diagrams.

Warranty & Care
