Safety Warnings
Important Safety Instructions:
- Do not open the cover. No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
- Do not place the product near heat sources (e.g., radiators), in direct sunlight, excessively dusty areas, or areas subject to mechanical vibration or shock.
- The product must not be exposed to dripping or splashing. Do not place objects filled with liquids (e.g., vases) on the product.
- Do not place open flame sources, such as lighted candles, on the product.
- Ensure adequate air circulation and do not obstruct vents to prevent internal heat build-up. Ventilation must not be impeded by covering the appliance with items such as newspapers, table-cloths, or curtains.
- Battery Safety: If used improperly, batteries may explode or leak and cause damage or injury. In the interest of safety:
- Observe the correct polarity when replacing batteries.
- Avoid using new batteries together with used ones.
- Avoid mixing different types of batteries.
- Remove batteries if the appliance is to remain unused for an extended period.
- Never keep batteries together with metallic objects such as ballpoint pens, necklaces, or hairpins.

Overview
Front Panel Controls
The front panel features a comprehensive set of controls for operating the keyboard:
- 1. POWER BUTTON: Turns the power on/off.
- 2. MAIN VOL: Adjusts the master volume.
- 3. TEMPO: Adjusts the current tempo value.
- 4. MUSIC VOL: Adjusts the volume of rhythms, songs, and the metronome.
- 5. TRANSPOSE: Adjusts the transpose value.
- 6. CHORD VOL: Adjusts the volume of the chord function.
- 7. SINGLE CHORD: Press to enter single chord mode.
- 8. FINGER CHORD: Press to enter finger chord mode.
- 9. RHYTHM: Press to enter rhythm mode.
- 10. SOUND: Press to enter sound mode.
- 11. NUMBER KEYPAD: Use these numbered buttons to select specific sound, rhythm, or song numbers.
- 12. [V]/[^] Buttons: Use these controls to scroll through sounds, rhythms, and songs.
- 13. PLAY/STOP: Plays or stops a rhythm, song, or auto-accompaniment.
- 14. SYNC: Turns the sync start function on/off.
- 15. FILL IN: Press during rhythm playback to insert a fill.
- 16. INTRO/ENDING: Plays the intro or ending section of the rhythm and auto-accompaniment tracks.
- 17. ONE-KEY: Use this button to access the one-key learning mode.
- 18. BEAT: Turns the metronome on/off.
- 19. DRUM PADS: Five drum pads for kick, snare, clap, hi-hat, and cymbal sounds.
- 20. DEMO: Press to enter demo mode.
- 21. SUSTAIN: Turns the sustain function on/off.
- 22. VIBRATO: Press to apply a vibrato effect to your sound.
- 23. DUAL: Press to activate the dual mode.
- 24. SPLIT: Press to activate the split function.
- 25. TOUCH (K1+ MODEL ONLY): Press to activate/deactivate the touch response.
- 25. PERCUSSION (K1 MODEL ONLY): Press to activate/deactivate percussion mode.
- 26. DISPLAY: Displays current selected information.
Rear Panel Connections
The rear panel provides essential connectivity options:
- 1. SUSTAIN PEDAL INPUT: A 6.35mm input for connecting a standard sustain pedal.
- 2. HEADPHONES OUTPUT: A 3.5mm output for connecting standard stereo headphones. When headphones are connected, the internal speakers will be bypassed.
- 3. USB-C POWER INPUT: Connect the supplied USB-C cable to a compatible adapter (not supplied) or device to power the keyboard. This port also allows connection to a computer for MIDI and audio transmission.
Tone Mode
In Tone mode, you can select and play individual sounds. Press the [SOUND] button to enter Tone mode. The LED display will show "t" followed by the current tone number. Use the numbered keys or the [ V ]/[^] buttons to select sounds.
Dual Mode
Dual mode allows you to play two sounds simultaneously. First, select the primary sound, then press [DUAL], and select the second sound. Press [DUAL] again to exit.
Split Mode
Split mode allows you to play two sounds at different ends of the keyboard. First, select the sound for the right hand by pressing [SPLIT], then select the sound for the left hand. Press [SPLIT] again to exit.
Transpose
Use the [TRANSPOSE ∨/^ ] buttons to transpose the keyboard's pitch by semi-tones. Pressing both buttons simultaneously resets the pitch to default.
Sustain
Press the [SUSTAIN] button to activate the sustain function, allowing notes to ring out longer after key release. This is useful if a sustain pedal is not available.
Chord Mode
The keyboard offers two Chord modes:
Single Chord Mode
This mode allows you to play chords using one or two fingers in the left hand.
- Major Triad: Play the root note (e.g., C for C major).
- Minor Triad: Play the root note and the note two semi-tones down (e.g., C and Bb for C minor).
- Seventh Chord: Play the root note and the note one semi-tone down (e.g., C and B for C7).
- Minor Seventh Chord: Play the root note, the note one semi-tone down, and the note two semi-tones down (e.g., C, B, and Bb for Cm7).
Finger Chord Mode
This mode is designed to help learn new chords. A sound is produced only when a chord (minimum three notes) is correctly played.
Rhythm Mode
In Rhythm mode, you can select and play various rhythm tracks.
Playing a Rhythm
Press the [RHYTHM] button to enter Rhythm mode. Use the [V]/[^] buttons or the number keypad to select rhythms. Press [PLAY/STOP] to start/stop the rhythm.
Sync Start
Press the [SYNC] button to enable sync start. The rhythm will begin as soon as you start playing the keyboard.
Playing with Auto-Accompaniment
Activate chord mode (Single Chord or Finger Chord) and play a note/chord on the left-hand side. The auto-accompaniment will start and follow your chord changes.
Fill In
Press the [FILL IN] button during playback to insert a drum fill.
Intro/Ending Sections
Press the [INTRO/ENDING] button before playing a rhythm to enable the intro section. Press it again to trigger the ending section, which will stop playback upon completion.
Beat (Metronome)
Press the [BEAT] button to activate/deactivate the metronome.
Adjusting Tempo
Use the [TEMPO ∨/۸] buttons to adjust the tempo of rhythms and the metronome. Pressing both buttons simultaneously resets the tempo.
Demo Mode
Listening to Songs
Press the [DEMO] button to enter Demo mode. Use the [ V]/[^] buttons or the number keypad to select songs from the list. Refer to page 19 for the song list.
Lesson Mode
In Demo mode, press the [ONE-KEY] button to enter Lesson mode for the selected demo. This mode allows playing demos using just one key, aiding in learning.
USB Connection
Connect the instrument to your computer via a USB cable. The computer should automatically recognize the instrument for MIDI and audio transmission. This allows the keyboard to be used as a MIDI controller, and your computer's audio output can be directed to the keyboard's built-in speakers.
Advanced Features
Touch Sensitivity (K1+ Model Only)
The K1+ model features touch-sensitive keys for greater expression. The default setting is 'on'. Press the [TOUCH] button to turn it off (notes will sound at a fixed volume). The display will show "OFF". Press [TOUCH] again to turn it back on, showing "TCH".
Percussion (K1 Model Only)
The K1 model has a [PERCUSSION] button to quickly select sound 128. When pressed, the keyboard keys play percussion sounds, enabling easy beat creation. To exit, select a different sound using the [ V]/[^] or numbered buttons.
Key Lighting (K1+ Model Only)
The K1+ keyboard includes a key lighting function to indicate which keys are being played, assisting with learning. This feature can be turned on/off by pressing the [V] and [^] buttons simultaneously.

These include a wide variety of instrument types such as pianos, organs, guitars, basses, strings, brass, woodwinds, synthesizers, and various sound effects.
