Product Overview

Grundfos SCALA2 is a fully integrated, self-priming, compact waterworks designed for pressure boosting in domestic applications. Its integrated speed control ensures perfect pressure at the taps, adapting performance to increasing demand.

The SCALA2 is self-priming and can pump water from a level below the pump. It can lift water from a depth of 8 meters in less than 5 minutes, providing a reliable water supply and preventing dry running or leakages.

The pump features an automatic reset function that attempts to restart every 5 minutes up to 8 times in case of dry running or alarm conditions. This function can be deactivated. The automatic reset function can be deactivated.

With its hydraulic design, permanent magnet motor, and water cooling, the SCALA2 operates at a low noise level, typically 47 dB(A), making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The maximum noise level at full load is 53 dB(A).

The built-in pressure tank minimizes pump starts and stops caused by pipe system leakages, reducing wear on the pump.

While the SCALA2 requires no maintenance, it is recommended to keep the pump clean, check non-return valves, and ensure ventilation holes are free of dust.

Installation Guide

SCALA2 can be installed in three easy steps:

1. Connect the pipes.
2. Prime the pump.
3. Plug the pump into the power outlet; the pump will start.
