ValkQuattro Installation Manual

Disclaimer

This installation manual provides specific information about the system to be installed, including mounting drawings and a ballast diagram calculated according to the applicable Eurocode, depending on the determined environmental factors. The environmental factors on which the ballast values are based must always be checked by the installer beforehand. In case of deviating situations, a project-specific calculation must be performed. For this, please contact Van der Valk Solar Systems.

All current building, safety, and construction-related regulations must be observed. The building in question will be additionally loaded as a result of the PV system. PV systems installed/mounted on roofs are exposed to wind and snow loads. Therefore, you are always responsible for obtaining and using a design calculation to determine whether the building can withstand the (additional) load at all times. Where necessary, you must make modifications. Van der Valk Solar Systems accepts no liability whatsoever if you have not received or have not correctly used such a required design calculation.

Mounting systems for PV panels placed on flat roofs with a maximum inclination of up to 5 degrees must be mechanically fastened to the roof or ballasted to ensure that the mounting system does not move or tip over in storms or gusts of wind. The required amount of ballast shown in the tables in this manual must be respected for safe placement and use of the mounting system. If the inclination of the roof surface is 5 degrees or more, the mounting system for PV panels must always be mechanically fastened to the roof structure.

The calculation does not take into account large obstacles in the immediate vicinity of the roof, such as tall buildings, cliffs, and mountains. Limitations also apply to the position of the solar energy mounting system on a roof. The solar panels must be installed at a certain distance from the roof edge: the center zone of the roof.

The standard warranty is 10 years. This warranty can be extended under certain conditions. The provided warranty is subject to the warranty conditions stated in the general terms and conditions of Van der Valk Solar Systems B.V. Our general terms and conditions always apply to all our products and can be found on our website: www.valksolarsystems.nl.

Van der Valk Solar Systems B.V. accepts no liability for any direct and/or indirect consequences of actions (or failure to act or omission thereof) resulting from the information in or non-compliance with the instructions in this installation manual. The use of the Installation Manual is always subject to Dutch law.
