Safety Instructions
It is recommended that electrical outlets for your charger should be installed by a licensed and qualified electrician. To avoid serious injury or death, installation must comply with the provisions of the National Electric Code (NEC) and all local codes. If there are conflicts between local codes and the NEC, local codes shall take precedence.
This product must be grounded. In case of a malfunction or breakdown, grounding can help reduce the risk of electric shock. This product includes a cord that is equipped with a grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be inserted into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
SHOCK HAZARD - Make sure the plug is fully inserted into the wall outlet to avoid any exposed metal surfaces.
DO NOT DROP THE CHARGER OR HANDLE.
If the output plug is separated from the charger module or the charging handle, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR THE CABLE YOURSELF. For assistance, contact Customer Service at: contact@ev-lectron.com
When using your charger, basic precautions should always be followed, including:
- Read warnings on the charger-cord label before operating the charger for the first time.
- Read all instructions in this guide before using the charger.
- Never use the charger with non-approved power adapters or other power components.
- Do not leave children unattended or unsupervised around chargers or other power outlets or devices.

Status indications are displayed via LED lights on the charger unit.

Note: The Power indicator blinks red 2 times every 4 seconds for Network Error.
Access Bluetooth
Ensure that Bluetooth permissions are enabled on your Apple or Android device to ensure proper connectivity.
1. Enable Bluetooth Permissions (Apple & Android)
Go to your device's Settings > Bluetooth and enable Bluetooth.
2. Additional Steps for Android
If you are using an Android device, please also enable “Nearby Devices” in your Bluetooth settings to ensure proper connectivity.
Accessing the Lectron App
Download and register for the Lectron App to manage your charger.
1. Download the App
Scan the QR code below with your mobile device or tablet to download and access the Lectron App.
2. Register Your Account
Download the Lectron App and tap "Create Account". You can register using your email, Google, or Apple account.
3. Verify Your Email (if applicable)
If you register via email, please input the verification code sent to your email address.
4. Set Your Login Password
Create a secure password for your account.
5. Access the App Homescreen
Navigate to the main screen of the Lectron App.
6. Add Your Charger
Tap "My chargers", then tap "Add Charger" and select "12A Portable Charger" when prompted. Ensure your charger is powered on and your phone's Bluetooth is enabled.
7. Configure Wi-Fi
Input your WiFi network name (SSID) and password to connect the charger.
8. Charger Added Successfully
Once connected, the 12A Portable Charger will be added to your account.
9. Manage Your Charger
You can now manage your 12A Portable Charger using the Lectron App, including starting and stopping charging, viewing status, and setting schedules.
10. Maximize Your Experience
Scan the QR code within the app to further enhance your experience with the 12A Portable Charger.
Installation Guide
To install the charger, insert the provided screw into the wall and then hang up the device.
Charging Your Vehicle
Important: Prior to charging, ensure your vehicle is parked and turned off.

Insert Charger into Wall Outlet
Plug the charger into an appropriate wall outlet (NEMA 5-15, 120 V).

Power and Connection Confirmation
The Power ⚡ and Connect ? lights will illuminate and stay solid. This indicates the charger is receiving AC power and is ready for use.

Connect to Vehicle
Plug the charging handle into your vehicle's charging outlet until it clicks. The charging handle will not disengage until you press the release button.

Charging Begins
Charging begins automatically. Power will be delivered according to your vehicle's demand. While charging, the Charging ? Indicator light will continuously blink. Always verify your vehicle-charging status by checking the vehicle's dashboard panel.

Charging Complete
When your vehicle is fully charged, the Charging ? Indicator light will stay solid. Your vehicle also has a "dashboard gauge" which shows charging status. Refer to your vehicle user manual to find the location of this gauge on the dashboard.

Disconnect Charger
Disconnect the charger when the charge is completed by pressing the release button on the charging handle and separating it from your vehicle.

NOTE: This charger requires a 120 V AC split-phase power supply and is designed to draw a maximum of 12 Amps of continuous current.
Troubleshooting
Please refer to this troubleshooting guide to fix common charging errors or while using the portable charger.

Charging Indicator does not illuminate | No power to the charger. | 1. Check the circuit breaker and other circuit loads. 2. Try another wall outlet. 3. Ensure that the charger module is fully inserted into the wall outlet. |
Charging handle is not properly inserted into the vehicle. | 1. Inspect the charging handle. 2. Remove the charging handle from the vehicle, then reinsert it into the vehicle outlet until it clicks. |

Vehicle cannot accept any charge. | Verify that the vehicle charge timer is set to permit charging. Refer to the vehicle user manual for charge timer instructions. | |
