- This product is manufactured by Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc.
- Seizures induced by light stimulation (Photosensitive Epilepsy): If you have an epileptic condition or have had seizures, consult your doctor prior to playing. Discontinue use immediately if you experience eye soreness, altered vision, migraine, muscle twitching, convulsion, blackout, loss of awareness or disorientation when exposed to flashing or flickering lights.
- Stop playing immediately when you experience the following symptoms: Headache, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, symptoms similar to motion sickness, or discomfort or pain in any body part. Seek medical attention if the condition persists.

- The commercial use or rental of this product is prohibited.
- Precautions: Read this manual and the AC adaptor manual carefully. Parents and guardians should ensure children follow all safety precautions.
- Safety: Regularly inspect the USB cable for damage and dust build-up. Unplug the AC adaptor immediately if the device functions abnormally, produces unusual sounds or smells, or becomes too hot to touch. Connect and use the console within easy access to the socket outlet.
- Use and handling: Only play preloaded games. This console is compatible only with supplied controllers. Console memory stores limited game save data; external storage devices are not supported. Gameplay experience may differ from previous PlayStation consoles. Do not use the console in a closed cabinet or locations where heat may build up. If the console's internal temperature becomes elevated, turn it off and move it to a well-ventilated location. Use in a well-lit area and keep a safe distance from the TV screen. Avoid prolonged use; take a 15-minute break per hour. Avoid playing when tired or needing sleep. Stop playing if you feel tired or experience discomfort or pain in your hands or arms. Keep console, accessories, and small components out of reach of small children. Make sure the AC adaptor is unplugged before connecting the HDMI cable. Do not touch the console, AC adaptor, or cables during an electrical storm. Do not use the console near water. Do not allow liquid or foreign objects into the console. Do not expose to rain or moisture. Do not place containers with liquids on the console. Do not touch connectors. Do not expose to dust, smoke, or steam. Do not place in areas with excessive dust or cigarette smoke.
- Carrying: Be careful when carrying the console and accessories to avoid dropping them.
- Data Saving: Do not turn off the console while data is being saved or loaded.
- AC Adaptor: Do not remove the AC adaptor while the POWER indicator is green, as this may cause data loss or damage.
- Placement: Do not stand on or put objects on the console. Do not stack the console with other devices. Do not place the console on the floor where it can be tripped over. Avoid bodily contact with the console for extended periods to prevent low-temperature burns. When connecting to plasma or projection TVs, avoid leaving a still image on the screen for extended periods to prevent image retention.
- Storage conditions: Do not expose to high temperatures, high humidity, or direct sunlight. Do not heat the console with kitchen equipment. Do not place on unstable surfaces.
- Vents: Do not block any vents. Place the console at least 10 cm away from a wall. Do not place on carpets with long fibres. Do not place in narrow spaces. Do not cover with cloth. Keep vents free of dust.
- AC adaptor (not included) and USB cable: Use only the designated AC adaptor. Do not touch the plug with wet hands. Do not damage the USB cable. Protect the USB cable from being walked on or pinched. Do not modify the USB cable. Do not place heavy items on the USB cable. Keep the USB cable away from heating equipment. Ensure ports and connectors are clean before connecting. Unplug the AC adaptor before cleaning or moving the console. Disconnect by grasping the connector, not the cable. Do not connect the AC adaptor to a voltage transformer or inverter.
- Never disassemble or modify the console or accessories: Unauthorized modification voids the warranty. There are no user-serviceable components inside.
- Moisture condensation: If the console is moved from a cold to a warm location, allow moisture to evaporate before use.
- Cleaning: Disconnect the AC adaptor before cleaning. Wipe exterior surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use insecticides, volatile substances, rubber or vinyl materials, solvents, or chemically-treated cloths. Remove dust from vents with a low-powered vacuum cleaner. Clean connectors with a dry cloth.
