As shown in the illustration below the system is controlled by TOUCH from the PCT-5 Transmitter or by optional Wi-Fi Control from Android or Apple Smart Phones and Tablets. 120V Supply PAL Pool Lighting PAL Mini PAL LED Optics 4 Loads such as Pumps, Blowers, Heater, Valve Control The PCR-9C is a 9 Channel Remote Control System. As shown in the illustration below the system is only controlled by TOUCH from the Wi-Fi Control from Android or Apple Smart Phones and Tablets. 120V Supply PAL Pool Lighting PAL Mini PAL LED Optics 8 Loads such as Pumps, Blowers, Heater, Valve Control Page 2 IMPORTANT INFORMATION The PCR-5C/PCR-9C must be installed in accordance with the National Electrical Code by a Certified Electrician or Qualified Pool Technician. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR PCR-5C/9C RGB OUTDOOR CONTROLLER Step 1. The PCR-5C/9C Enclosure must be located a minimum distance of 5 feet measured horizontally from the inside wall of the pool and not less than 1 foot above the maximum pool water level measured to the top of the PCR-5 Enclosure. NOTE: The enclosure must be mounted using the mounting feet on the enclosure with the 4x 6# x 3/4" long 316 grade stainless steel screw set supplied. If the enclosure is to be mounted on a concrete or block wall: Mark out the mounting hole locations and drill 3/16" holes using a masonry drill then fit the Star Plugs supplied into the holes and fix using the stainless steel screws supplied. Step 2. Using the conduit entry in top right hand side of the PCR-5C/PCR-9C (as shown) connect the 100-120V power supply to the NEC code requirements. Step 3. Using the conduit entries at the bottom of the PCR-5C/PCR-9C (as shown) to connect the switch wires to the Power Relays. Step 4. The PCR-5C Driver / Receiver is factory set to operate with the PCT-5 Transmitter supplied. Just fit the 2 x batteries supplied with the PCT-5 and the Transmitter is coded ready to provide Touch control to the system. Please refer to the information supplied with the PCT-5 transmitter for full operating instructions and features of the system. Step 5. To operate any of the five channels from the PCT-5 transmitter just simply press the "ON" from the selected channel to start and by pressing "OFF" to turn off. 2 SPEED SELECTION ON CHANNEL 4 Channel 4 can control 2 Speed Pumps if wired as shown on Page 5. If the "ON" button is pressed on Channel 4 once the motor will start in HIGH Speed. To select LOW speed press the "ON" button twice and after 3 minutes to allow the pump to prime in HIGH speed the power relays will change over to LOW speed. NB: If the motor is run for longer than 3 minutes in HIGH speed by pressing the "ON" button on Channel 4 it will change the power relays to LOW speed. Using the conduit entries at the bottom of the PCR-5C/9C (as shown). Connect the 4 core wire from the PAL 4 WIRE LED LIGHTS. Please ensure the 4 cores are connected to the correct terminals. Step 2. 1 x output conduit entries are provided in the enclosure to connect up to 8 x PAL-LED 4 Wire Pool Lights fitted with LAU-4 LED Lamps via UL Listed Junction Box. Download App to your iPhone or iPad from the iTunes App Store. Enter "pal lighting" as your search term and touch on OPEN to install. Android OS Step 1. Download App to your Android phone from the Google Play Store. Enter "pal lighting" as your search term and touch on INSTALL to install the application. DO NOT open the application yet. Step 2. Return to the Main Menu. Touch the Settings icon. This will take you to the Settings page. A. Select Wi-Fi B. Select `PAL Lighting' Step 3. Return to the Main Menu. Touch 3A 3B to open the application. 3C Loading Screen Press Refresh Button until Blue Tick appears Then Touch on Window Step 4. Operating the Touch-5 App. Select TOUCH-5 to open the App A. Select ON 4A B. Select OFF 4B When "ON" is selected you can then control the color, brightness, mode & color change speed of your PAL Color Touch Light System as outlined in the adjacent instructions. To Power "OFF" Page 6 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR PCR-5CU/9CUW 5/9 CHANNEL when TOUCH-5 Wi-Fi Module is Installed in PCR-5C Step 5. Channel Naming Procedure 5A 5B 5C By pressing down the channel button you can detail the channel name. Type in selected channel name then select ok The channel name will appear. Maximum number of characters that can be entered: iPhone 5/6 = 12 characters iPad = 10 characters Step 6. Operating the Unit COLOR WHEEL Can select any color from the color wheel. Can select Brightness (BRIGHT) on any selected color. 4 CHANNEL ON/OFF BUTTONS OPERATIONAL LED Color selected is displayed here MODE SELECTION Up & Down 1. White - Can change Brightness (BRIGHT) [Default] 2. Color Change - Can change Brightness (BRIGHT) & Speed (SPEED) Red, Amber, Green, Aqua, Blue, Purple, White with initial setting of 2 second delay. This time can be increased to 4, 6, 8 or 10 Sec by pressing (SPEED DOWN) 3. Disco - Can change Brightness (BRIGHT) 4. White Gradual Change - Can change Brightness (B) & Speed (S) 5. Blue Gradual Change - Can change Brightness (B) & Speed (S) 6. Green Gradual Change - Can change Brightness (B) & Speed (S) 7. Red Gradual Change - Can change Brightness (B) & Speed (S) BRIGHTNESS SPEED Up & Down Up & Down 5 Brightness Settings 5 Speed Settings (100%, 80%, 60%, 40%, 20%) (2 sec, 4 sec, 6 sec, 8 sec, 10 sec) FEATURES 1. Matching Code - Apply power to the receiver. Momentarily Press the Code Setting Button. Then press (UP) on Speed (SPEED) once within 2 seconds. The output light will flash white 5 times if matching is successful. 2. Clearing Code - Apply power to the receiver. Hold down (UP) on Speed (SPEED) for 5 seconds. The output light will flash 5 times if clearing the code is successful. After successfully clearing the existing code a new code will have to be applied by following the matching code procedure above. 3. 1 Transmitter (PCT-5) can operate an unlimited number of Receivers (PCR-4) 4. 1 Receiver (PCR-4) can be controlled by a maximum of 4 Transmitters (PCT-1) or (PCT-5) 5. Touching the color wheel will reset any Mode selection. 6. Memory Feature - Remembers color selection after being switched off. 7. Once the transmitter and receiver are successfully coded the receiver will remember the code if powered off.
