GEEKOM Mini IT12 Setup and Safety Guide
This document provides instructions for setting up and safely operating the GEEKOM Mini IT12 Mini PC.
Product Overview
The GEEKOM Mini IT12 is a compact and powerful mini PC designed for office, design, and entertainment use. It is intended for indoor use only.
Installation Guide
Step 1: Prepare the Chassis
Open the chassis to access internal components.
Step 2: Install M.2 SSD
Install the M.2 SSD into the designated slot.
Step 3: Install DDR4 RAM
Install the DDR4 SODIMM memory modules into the slots.
Step 4: Secure Components
Fasten the installed components with screws.
Step 5: Close the Chassis
Reassemble the chassis, ensuring all parts are securely fitted.
Step 6: VESA Mount (Optional)
The device can be mounted using a VESA compatible bracket for flexible placement.
Step 7: Connect Power and Peripherals
Connect the AC power adapter and any necessary peripherals.
Safety and Caution Information
AC Power Adapter: Use only the provided AC adapter. Risk of electric shock, fire, or burns if an incorrect adapter is used. Indoor and dry locations only. Do not open the enclosure. The adapter is rated for 0°C to 35°C (32°F to 95°F). Connect to a properly wired and grounded outlet.
Battery Safety: Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type. Recycle batteries where possible. Dispose of used batteries according to local environmental regulations.
Compliance: Failure to use the included power adapter violates regulatory compliance and may pose safety hazards.
Temperature: Operate in ambient temperatures between 0°C and 35°C (32°F and 95°F). Avoid heat sources, direct sunlight, or extreme temperatures.
Medical Devices: This device may interfere with pacemakers, hearing aids, or other medical devices. Maintain a separation distance of 20 cm (8 inches) between the device and medical devices.
Modifications: Unauthorized modifications to the wireless solution, thermal solution, components, or enclosure violate compliance requirements and can create safety hazards.

Connecting to a Network
- Click the network icon in the Windows notification area.
- Select the desired network and input any required information (e.g., Wi-Fi password for secured networks).
