Testing and Approval The Leatt® Back Protector Reaflex has been tested against the manufacturer's specifications and EU Type Examination certification has been issued by RICOTEST Via Tione, 9 - 37010 Pastrengo (VR), European Notified Body No. 0498. It is CE marked to denote compliance with the Personal Protective Equipment Regulation (EU) 2016/425. The following European Standards have been used in the evaluation of this product: - EN1621-2 Level 1 "Motorcyclists' protective clothing against mechanical impact - Part 2: Motorcyclists'
back protectors" - EN 13688:2013 "Protective clothing - General requirements" Note 1: The inclusion of CE approved armor within this garment does not imply that the whole garment is CE approved.

Protection provided Protector conforms to the EU Personal Protective Equipment Regulation 2016/425. Back protection conforms to the Level 1 requirements of EN 1621-2:2014 Leatt® protector back plates have been tested to EN1621-2:2014 and recorded a mean transmitted force of below 18kN from a 50 Joule impact (Level 1).
Use Products meeting the requirements of the technical specifications listed above are intended to reduce the severity or incidence of soft tissue injuries such as bruising, contusions, cuts and abrasions during off-road motorcycling and biking activities, such as Moto-X, Enduro, Downhill MTB, BMX and Adventure Sports. - Products meeting the requirements of the technical specifications may reduce the severity and/or
incidence of some more serious injuries such as minor fractures. - Products meeting the requirements of the technical specifications cannot significantly mitigate against
major injuries, such as serious fractures resulting from extreme impact forces or torsion/flexion/bending/ crushing injuries and neurological spinal injuries. Currently available materials and technology do not allow this level of protection to be attained in products which would be acceptable to wear and which would allow physical activities to be conducted and completed satisfactorily.

Positioning of Leatt® protection range No single size of body protection can accommodate all body dimensions because of variation in height and shape. In addition, Leatt® impact protectors can only provide the maximum achievable level of protection when they are correctly positioned and adequately secured on the wearer. Where fitted, the back, chest and limb impact protector components are in fixed positions within the Back Protector and Body Protector, which should always be of a snug fit to the body. In particular users should avoid choosing too big a protector because of the potential of interference with the helmet that, should it occur, can result in a dangerous riding condition. If the primary impact protector components do not correctly fit and cover the following areas, an alternative size may be required: Back protector: Back protectors should be located centrally along the line of the spine, with the widest part of the back protector extending over the scapulae (shoulder blades) and with the lower edge of the back protector ending as close to the base of the spine as is comfortable.

Adjustment
Before completely zipping the garment closed, ensure that the back protector is in the correct position. When worn with the user's safety helmet and a LEATT® Neck Brace, the protector should allow the full range of normal
head and neck movements (i.e.: looking up, looking down and looking side-to-side, such as when performing an over-the-shoulder check); the protector, LEATT® Neck Brace and the helmet only coming into contact with each other as the full range of normal movement is reached. With your Leatt® protectors in place, check that
you are able to.

Cleaning Always follow the washing instructions printed on the label attached to the garments, since when alternative fabrics with specific performance characteristics are used, washing instructions may differ. Touch-and-close fastenings, where fitted, can be cleared of debris using a nail brush. If the protector components have become soiled in use, wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Use a soft brush, damped in water, to clean the perforations in the components. Only use tap water. Never use cleaners or detergents, or launder the protector, the product will be damaged by the cleaning process and chemicals and the level of protection provided severely reduced.
Common substances applied to this product (solvent, cleaners, hair tonics, etc.) can cause damage that may be invisible to the user and compromise the effectiveness/safety of your Leatt® product. If in any doubt, please contact the manufacturer before cleaning or laundering your protector. Always refer to the material content label on the Leatt® product. None of the materials used in the construction of the product are known to contain anything that is harmful or might cause an allergic reaction or be dangerous to health.

Storage and transportation

Place the Leatt® product on a clean, dry surface and store in a dry, well-ventilated environment away from

direct sunlight and extreme temperature. Do not place heavy objects on top of Leatt® product as this can

damage the fabrics and plastic materials. The protection provided by your Leatt® product should not be

affected by non-extreme ambient temperature and weather conditions.

Maintenance and obsolescence For maximum performance, the Leatt® product must be inspected prior to each use. Stop using the protector if any components show signs of damage or are worn, cracked, and/or deformed, or if the inside padding has deteriorated. Leatt® Corporation recommends that the Leatt® product is replaced every three (3) years under normal use conditions. Should you experience a collision or if the Leatt® product or any component shows any signs of damage, cracking, deformity and/or the inside padding is deteriorating, return the product to the seller for inspection or destroy and replace it. Please dispose of it in an environmentally-friendly manner. Do not drill holes, paint, cut, heat, bend, apply decals or stickers, or make any other modifications to the elbow guard. Doing so may compromise the effectiveness and safety of your Leatt® product.
Use with other Personal Protective Equipment Leatt® protectors form part of a protective equipment ensemble available for use by participants in off-road motorcycling and downhill biking activities. Additional PPE, which it is recommended should be worn during off-road motorcycling and downhill biking activities, includes clothing conforming to EN 13595-1:2002, where applicable to the riding environment (may not be suitable for off-road motorcycling or downhill cycling) or other suitable clothing providing full coverage to the body, arms and legs; impact protectors conforming to EN 1621-1:2012 (where not already a component of your Leatt® protector or other motorcycle clothing); gloves conforming to EN 13594:2002; boots conforming to EN 13634:2010. Always perform any motor sport activity with caution and use/wear appropriate safety equipment.

Bereitgestellter Schutz Der Protektor entspricht der EU-Verordnung für persönliche Schutzausrüstung 2016/425. Der Rückenschutz erfüllt die Anforderungen gemäß Level 1 der Norm EN 1621-2:2014 Die Leatt® Protektor-Rückenplatten wurden gemäß EN1621-2:2014 getestet, wobei die mittlere, maximal übertragene Kraft bei 50 Joule Schlagfestigkeit (Level 1) unter 18kN lag.

Mit den derzeit verfügbaren Materialien und Technologien könnte dieses Maß an Schutz nicht in Produkten erreicht werden, die akzeptabel zu tragen wären und die die Durchführung und den erfolgreichen Abschluss von Aktivitäten ermöglichen würden.

Eine einzelne Größe des Körperschutzes kann wegen der Variation in Höhe und Form nicht für alle Körpermaße passen. Zudem können die Leatt® Aufprallprotektoren nur dann bestmöglichen Schutz bieten, wenn sie korrekt

angelegt und adäquat am Träger befestigt sind. Wo angebracht sind die Prallschutz-Komponenten für Rücken,

Brustkorb und Gliedmaßen in festen Positionen innerhalb der Körperweste und des Körperprotektors und müssen

immer passend am Körper anliegen. Insbesondere sollten Benutzer vermeiden, den Protektor zu groß zu wählen,

weil das Potenzial von Behinderungen mit dem Helm vorhanden ist, was zu gefährlichen Fahrbedingungen führt.

Wenn der primäre Aufprallprotektor nicht richtig sitzt und die folgenden Bereiche nicht abdeckt, sollte eine andere

Größe erwogen werden:

Rückenprotektor: Rückenprotektoren sollten zentral entlang der Linie der Wirbelsäule anliegen, mit der

breitesten Stelle des Rückenprotektors über die Schulterblättern hinausragend und mit dem unteren Rand des

Rückenschutzes nah an der Basis der Wirbelsäule enden, wie es bequem ist.

Anpassung
Br Sie das Kleidungsstück vollständig schließen, stellen Sie sicher, dass sich der Rückenprotektor in der richtigen Position befindet. Korrekt eingestellt und mit Schutzhelm des Benutzers und einer LEATT® Nackenstütze getragen sollte der Protektor den gesamten Umfang der normalen Kopf-Hals-Bewegungen erlauben (d. h.: nach oben, nach unten und von einer Seite zur anderen Seite sehen, wie zum Beispiel bei der Durchführung eines Blicks über die Schulter); der Protektor, die LEATT® Nackenstütze und der Helm dürfen daher nur dann miteinander in Berührung kommen, wenn der vollständige sichere Bereich normaler Kopfbewegungen beim Fahren erreicht wird. Überprüfen Sie, ob Sie Ihre Fahrzeugsteuerung sicher mit Ihrem angelegten Leat-Protektoren bedienen können. Transport und Aufbewahrung Bewahren Sie Ihr Leatt® Produkt auf einer sauberen, trockenen Fläche in einem trockenen, gut belüfteten
Raum ohne direkte Sonneneinwirkung oder extreme Temperaturschwankungen auf. Legen Sie keine schweren
Gegenstände auf Ihrem Produkt ab, da Stoffe und Kunststoffteile dadurch beschädigt werden können. Der Schutz, den Ihnen Ihr Leatt® Produkt bietet, wird in der Regel nicht durch geringfügige Schwankungen der
Umgebungstemperatur und Wetterbedingungen beeinflusst.

Wartung und Alterung Für maximale Leistung muss Ihr Leatt® Produkt vor jedem Gebrauch überprüft werden. Benutzen Sie den Protektor nicht mehr, wenn Sie Anzeichen von Schäden oder Verschleiß, Risse und/oder Deformierungen feststellen oder das Füllmaterial beschädigt ist. Die Leatt® Corporation empfiehlt, das Leatt® Produkt bei normaler Benutzung alle 3 (drei) Jahre ersetzen. Sollten Sie in eine Kollision verwickelt sein oder wenn Ihr Leatt® Anzeichen von Schäden oder Verschleiß, Rissen bzw. Deformierungen aufweisen, oder das Füllmaterial beschädigt sein, senden Sie das Produkt zur Überprüfung an den Händler zurück oder entsorgen und ersetzen Sie es. Entsorgen Sie das Produkt bitte auf umweltfreundliche Weise. Perforieren, bemalen, schneiden, erhitzen und biegen Ihre Knieorthese nicht, kleben Sie keine Sticker auf und nehmen Sie keine anderen Änderungen an Ihrer Knieorthese vor. Eine derartige Vorgehensweise kann die Effektivität und Sicherheit Ihres Leatt® Produkts beeinträchtigen.
Mit anderer Personenschutzausrüstung verwenden Die Leatt® stellt einen Teil der Schutzausrüstung dar, die für Geländemotorradfahrer und Downhill-Biker geeignet ist. Es wird empfohlen, während dem Motorradfahren und Downhill-Mountainbiking zusätzliche eine PSA, einschl. Bekleidung nach EN 13595-1:2002 zu tragen, wenn dies im Fahrumfeld möglioch ist (kann bei Off-RoadMotorradfahren oder Downhill-Mountainbiking unpassend sein). Alternativ kann Bekleidung getragen werden, die den Körper, die Arme und Beine vollständig bedeckt; Aufprallprotektoren gemäß EN 1621-1:2012 (möglicherweise bereits ein Teil Ihres Leatt® Protektors oder Ihre Motorradausrüstung); Handschuhe gemäß EN 13594:2002; Stiefel gemäß EN 13634:2010. Betreiben Sie jede Art Motorsport vorsichtig und tragen Sie die entsprechende Sicherheitsausrüstung.

Come indossare la gamma di protezione Leatt® Nessuna taglia di protettore per il corpo è in grado di adattarsi a tutte le corporature, a causa delle variazioni in termini di altezza e forma. I fermagli "Touch-and-close", ove presenti, possono essere ripuliti da eventuali depositi e sporcizia usando uno spazzolino per unghie. Se i componenti della protezione per torso si sono sporcati nell'uso, strofinare la superficie con un panno umido. Usare uno spazzolino morbido, inumidito in acqua, per pulire i fori dei componenti. Usare solo acqua del rubinetto. Non usare mai detergenti o detersivi o mettere il in lavatrice, verrebbe danneggiato nel corso della fase di pulitura con l'impiego di prodotti chimici fino al punto da ridurre enormemente il livello di protezione assicurato. Le sostanze più comuni applicate a questo prodotto (solventi, detergenti, lozioni, ecc....) possono causare danni invisibili all'utente ma che compromettono l'efficacia/sicurezza del protettore Leatt® . In caso di dubbio, contattare il produttore prima di pulire o lavare il protettore. Consultare sempre l'etichetta descrittiva dei materiali su Leatt®. Manutenzione e obsolescenza Per ottenere le prestazioni massime, il prodotto Leatt® deve essere ispezionato prima dell'uso. L'uso del protettore deve essere sospeso in caso di evidenti segni di danneggiamento o usura, fessurazioni e/o deformazioni o se l'imbottitura interna risulti deteriorata. Utilizzo con dispositivi di protezione individuale I protettori Leatt® fanno parte di un set di dispositivi di protezione individuale a disposizione di partecipanti ad attività motociclistiche e di discesa libera in mtb. Ulteriori dispositivi PPE che si raccomanda di indossare durante le attività motociclistiche off road e di mtb in discesa libera, comprendono gli indumenti conformi alla direttiva EN 13595-1:2002, ove applicabile all'ambiente di utilizzo interessato (potrebbe non essere adatto per il motociclismo off-road o l'mtb a discesa libera) o altro indumento idoneo che assicuri protezione integrale a corpo, braccia e gambe; protettori anti-urto conformi a EN 1621-1:2012 (e non già componente del protettore Leatt® o altro vestiario da motociclista); guanti conformi a EN 13594:2002; stivali conformi a EN 13634:2010 . *cm Placement du matériel de protection Leatt® Aucune taille unique de protection pour le corps ne peut convenir pour toutes les dimensions corporelles en raison de la hauteur et de la forme variables. De plus, les protections Leatt® assurent le meilleur degré de protection possible uniquement si elles sont correctement placées et attachées sur la personne. Lorsqu'elles existent, les protections des articulations, le plastron et la dorsale sont fixés à l'intérieur du gilet ou de la protection pour le corps et elles doivent toujours être bien ajustées contre le corps. Les utilisateurs devront notamment éviter de choisir une protection trop grande à cause du risque d'interférence avec le casque qui, le cas échéant, pourrait s'avérer dangereux. Si les composants principaux du protecteur ne sont pas parfaitement ajustés et ne couvrent pas les parties suivantes, il convient d'essayer une autre taille : Protecteur dorsal: Les protecteurs dorsaux doivent être centrés, le long de la ligne que constitue la colonne vertébrale avec la partie la plus large sur les omoplates et le bord inférieur aussi près que possible de la base de la colonne vertébrale, aussi confortablement que possible.
Réglage Avant de fermer complètement le vêtement, assurez-vous que le protecteur dorsal est dans la bonne position. Lorsqu'elle est correctement ajustée et portée avec le casque de l'utilisateur et un LEATT® Attelle pour le cou, la protection devrait permettre à la tête et au cou de bouger normalement (C'est-à-dire : de regarder en haut, en bas et sur les côtés, idem pour regarder par-dessus votre épaule); la protection LEATT® Attelle pour le cou et le casque doivent entrer en contact seulement lorsque l'amplitude maximale du mouvement normal de la tête du motocycliste est atteinte. Nettoyage Suivez toujours les instructions de lavage imprimées sur l'étiquette attachée aux vêtements, car dans le cas où d'autres tissus avec des caractéristiques de performance spécifiques sont utilisés, les instructions de lavage peuvent être très différentes. Les fermetures par pression, s'il y en a, peuvent être nettoyées avec une brosse à ongles. Si une protection est salie pendant son utilisation, essuyez la surface avec un tissu mouillé. Utilisez une brosse souple, trempée dans l'eau pour nettoyer la protection. Utilisez seulement de l'eau du robinet. N'utilisez jamais de savons ou de lessives, et ne passez pas la protecteur à la machine à laver au risque d'abimer le produit pendant le processus et de réduire gravement le niveau de protection. Stockage et transport Placez le produit Leatt® sur une surface propre et sèche et stockez-le dans un environnement sec et bien ventilé, loin de la lumière du soleil et protégé des températures extrêmes. Ne placez pas d'objets lourds sur votre produit Leatt® pour ne pas endommager les tissus et les matériaux plastiques. La protection offerte par votre produit Leatt® ne devrait pas être affectée par des températures ambiantes stables et la météo.
Maintenance et obsolescence Pour la meilleure performance, le produit Leatt® doit être inspecté avant chaque utilisation. Il faut interrompre l'utilisation si un des composants montre un signe de détérioration, s'il est craqué, fissuré, et / ou déformé, ou si le rembourrage intérieur est abîmé. Leatt® Corporation recommande qu'un produit Leatt® soit remplacé tous les trois (3) ans sous utilisation normale. Limpieza Sigue siempre las instrucciones de lavado impresas en la etiqueta de las prendas; cuando se utilizan distintos tejidos con características de rendimiento específicas las instrucciones de lavado pueden variar. Para limpiar la suciedad de los protector, en su caso, puede utilizarse un cepillo de uñas. Si los componentes de la protector se ensucian con el uso, limpiar la superficie con un paño húmedo. Utilizar un cepillo suave humedecido con agua para limpiar las perforaciones de los componentes. Utilizar solo agua del grifo. No utilizar productos de limpieza ni detergentes ni llevar la rodillera a la lavandería; el producto podría dañarse durante el proceso de lavado y los componentes químicos y el nivel de protección pueden verse afectados muy negativamente. Posicionamento do Leatt® - extensão da proteção

Nenhum tamanho único da proteção corporal pode se adaptar a todas as dimensões do corpo humano devido à variação de altura e de forma. Além disso, as proteções de impacto Leatt® poderão apenas oferecer

o nível máximo possível de proteção quando estiverem posicionadas corretamente e presas com segurança

no usuário. Onde colocados, os componentes do protetor de impacto para costas, tórax e membros estão

em posições fixas no Colete corporal e Protetor corporal, os quais devem sempre estar apertados no corpo.

Em especial, os usuários devem evitar escolher protetores excessivamente grandes devido ao potencial de

interferências no capacete, que, caso ocorram, podem resultar em condições perigosas de condução. Se os

componentes principais do protetor contra impacto não estiverem corretamente ajustados e não cobrirem as

áreas a seguir, é possível que seja necessário adquirir um tamanho alternativo:

Protetor para as costas: Os protetores para as costas devem estar localizados centralmente, com a parte mais

ampla do protetor se ampliando pela escápula (ombros) e ao longo da linha da coluna e com sua borda inferior

terminando o mais próximo possível da base da coluna, de maneira que ainda seja confortável.

Ajuste Antes de fechar completamente a roupa fechada, assegure-se de que o protetor traseiro esteja na posição correta. Quando corretamente ajustado e utilizado com o capacete de segurança e um LEATT® Braçadeira de pescoço, o protetor deve permitir toda a gama de movimentos normais de cabeça e pescoço (ou seja, olhar para cima, para baixo e para os lados, como ao realizar uma verificação sobre o ombro); só há contato entre o protetor, o Leatt® e o capacete devem estar em contato um com o outro quando a gama de segurança completa do movimento normal é atingido. Coloque corretamente os protetores Leatt e verifique se pode operar com segurança os controles do veículo. Limpeza Siga sempre as instruções de lavagem impressas no rótulo anexado aos produtos, uma vez que quando os tecidos alternativos com características específicas de desempenho são usadas, as instruções de lavagem podem ser diferentes. Para fechos do tipo toque e fecha, se instalados, os resíduos podem removidos com uma escova de unhas. Se os componentes de proteção do joelho ficarem sujos devido ao uso, limpe a superfície com um pano úmido. Use uma escova macia, embebida em água, para limpar as perfurações nos componentes. Utilize apenas água da torneira. Nunca utilize produtos de limpeza ou detergentes, ou lave o suporte de joelho, o produto será danificado pelo processo de limpeza e pelos produtos químicos, e o nível de proteção previsto será severamente reduzido. Substâncias comuns aplicadas neste produto (solvente, produtos de limpeza, tônicos capilares, etc.) podem causar danos que podem ser invisíveis para o usuário e comprometer a eficácia/ segurança de seu protetor Leatt®. Uso com outros equipamentos de proteção individual Os protetores da Leatt® fazem parte de um conjunto de equipamentos de proteção disponíveis para uso por participantes de atividades de motociclismo off-road e ciclismo downhill. *cm Positionering van Leatt® beschermingsreeks Geen enkele maat body beschermer is geschikt voor alle lichaamsmaten vanwege de verschillen in hoogte en vorm. Bovendien kunnen Leatt® botsbeschermers alleen het maximaal bereikbare beschermingsniveau bieden wanneer ze correct geplaatst zijn en voldoende stevig op de drager zijn bevestigd. De beschermingscomponenten voor de rug, borst en ledematen bevinden zich in vaste posities binnen het Back Protector en de Body Protector en dienen altijd goed op het lichaam aan te sluiten. Gebruikers moeten vooral voorkomen dat zij een te grote beschermer kiezen, omdat bij een mogelijk contact met de helm, dit tot gevaarlijke rijomstandigheden kan leiden. Als de primaire botsbeschermingscomponenten niet goed passen en de volgende delen bedekken, is er mogelijk een andere maat vereist: Rugbeschermer: Rugbeschermers dienen centraal langs de wervelkolom te lopen, waarbij het breedste deel van de rugbeschermer over de scapulae (schouderbladen) moet vallen en de onderste rand van de rugbeschermer zo dicht mogelijk bij het onderste deel van de wervelkolom moet eindigen, maar nog wel prettig zit.
Verstellen Zorg ervoor dat de rugbeschermer zich in de juiste positie bevindt voordat u het kledingstuk volledig hebt dichtgetrokken. Indien correct afgesteld en gedragen in combinatie met de veiligheidshelm van de gebruiker en een LEATT® Braçadeira de pescoço, moet de Protector alle normale hoofd- en nekbewegingen toelaten (bijv.: omhoog, omlaag en zijdelings kijken, zoals wanneer u over uw schouder naar achteren kijkt); de Protector, LEATT® Braçadeira de pescoço en de helm raken elkaar alleen wanneer het uiterste binnen de normale hoofdbewegingen is bereikt. Opslag en transport Plaats het Leatt® product op een schoon, droog oppervlak en bewaar het in een droge, goed-geventileerde
omgeving uit de buurt van direct zonlicht en extreme temperaturen. Plaats geen zware voorwerpen op het Leatt® product, de textiele en kunststoffen kunnen daardoor beschadigd raken. De bescherming die door uw Leatt® product wordt geleverd, verandert in principe niet bij niet-extreme omgevingstemperaturen en
weersomstandigheden.

Onderhoud en veroudering Voor maximale prestaties, moet het Leatt® product voor elk gebruik worden geïnspecteerd. Indien onderdelen tekenen vertonen van beschadiging of indien ze versleten, gescheurd en/of vervormd zijn, of indien de kwaliteit van de binnenbekleding is afgenomen, mag de protector niet meer worden gebruikt. Leatt® Corporation raadt aan het Leatt® product wordt om de drie (3) jaar te vervangen bij normale gebruiksomstandigheden. Gebruik met andere persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen Leatt® beschermers maken deel uit van een complete beschermingsuitrusting die beschikbaar is voor gebruik bij off-road motor- of downhill fietsactiviteiten. Aanvullende aanblen persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen om te dragen tijdens off-road motorrijden en downhill mtb-activiteiten zijn onder andere, kleding conform EN 13595-1:2002, wanneer van toepassing op de rijomgeving (wellicht niet geschikt voor off-road motorrijden of downhill mtb) of andere geschikte kleding die het lichaam en armen en benen volledig bedekt; beschermers tegen mechanische belastingen conform EN 1621-1:2012 (indien die niet al onderdeel uitmaken van uw Leatt® beschermer of andere motorkleding); handschoenen conform EN 13594:2002; laarzen conform EN 13634:2010. Leatt® Corporation rekommenderar att din Leatt-® produkt byts utt vart tredje (3) år under normala användningsförhållanden.
