Installation Guide

Follow these steps for installation:

1. Securely attach the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws and wall plugs.
2. Position the device. The diagram illustrates optimal detection ranges up to 6 meters and 12 meters.
3. The detection pattern covers a wide angle of 140 degrees within a range of 2.5 meters.
4. Open the battery compartment and insert a 9V PP3 battery, ensuring correct polarity.
5. Steps 5 through 7 show the process of mounting the main unit onto the bracket. Align the device and slide it until it clicks into place.

Linking the Device

Follow these steps to link the L430S device to your system. This involves interacting with a button or setting, indicated by icons such as a gear ⚙️ and a musical note ?, suggesting pairing or configuration.

Battery Installation

To install or replace the battery: Open the device cover, insert the 9V PP3 battery correctly, and close the cover. The diagram shows the battery orientation.

Operating Instructions

The device features different operating modes, controlled by setting 'A'. One mode is indicated by a light symbol, another by a musical note ?.

Detection Area and Walk Test

Detection Area

The detection area can be configured. Diagrams show potential detection zones with angles of 50° and 40°. A successful detection is confirmed with a checkmark ✔️, while an unsuccessful detection (e.g., object outside the zone) is marked with a cross ❌.

Walk Test

Perform a walk test to verify the detection range. The device indicates successful motion detection with a musical note symbol ? and no detection with a cross mark ❌. This test verifies the device's coverage.
