Troubleshooting
- 1. Factory Reset: Press and hold the [settings button] on the blinds for over 5 seconds until the LED flashes rapidly red.
- 2. Fail to pair with Echo: Ensure your Echo Speaker is compatible (Echo 4th Gen, Echo Plus 1st/2nd Gen, Echo Show 10 2nd/3rd Gen, Echo Studio) and updated. Ensure Echo devices are set up before adding the Smart Blind. Reboot the Echo speaker by unplugging and replugging it. If issues persist, factory reset the Echo speaker (press and hold Action button for 25 seconds) and try pairing again.
- 3. Smart Blind is not responding after pairing with Echo device: Check the LED indicator status (blinking once every 3 seconds means offline). Reboot the Echo speaker and factory reset the Smart Blind, then re-pair. If problems continue, deregister and re-register the Echo speaker.
- 4. Smart Blind does not stop at the preset position: Press the "Up" button to move the blind to the highest position (0%). Then press the "Down" button to extend it. The blind will stop when the bottom sensor is triggered, setting this as the 100% preset bottom position.
- 5. The "up" and "down" buttons of Smart blind reverse to the actual movement: Press the "Up" button to move the blind to the lowest position. It will then continue to the highest position. The "Up" and "Down" buttons will now correspond to the actual direction of movement.
- 6. Press button no response after installation: Confirm batteries are installed correctly.
- 7. Change the 100% position preset:
- To reset to a higher position: Trigger the bottom sensor again as the blind falls down.
- To reset to a lower position: When the blind stops at the current 100% position, press the down button twice to move it down. Stop it by triggering the bottom sensor when it reaches the desired new position.
- 8. Control issues with Third Reality hub: If the Smart Blind cannot be controlled to fully close (0%) by dragging the progress bar in the Third Reality app when paired with the Third Reality hub: First, press DOWN in the app to lower the blind, then press UP to raise it to the top position. Alternatively, use the UP button on the Smart Blind or IR remote to move it to the top position. This sets the real 0% position, allowing flawless control in the Third Reality App.
