The package includes:

Smart Blind Remote: Features Up, Stop, and Down buttons. Requires 2x AA batteries.

Smart Blind Installation

THIRDREALITY Smart Blind supports both inside and outside mounts. The package provides L-shaped and U-shaped brackets, screws, and plastic expansion bolts. A PH2 screwdriver is required for mounting. For masonry surfaces, an M5 drill bit is recommended. Ensure the THIRDREALITY logo and bracket orientation are correct during installation.

Mounting Options

Installation Steps

1. Prepare Mounts

Measure and mark bracket positions according to the chosen mount type (inside or outside). For wooden surfaces, use a PH2 screwdriver and provided screws. For masonry surfaces, drill a pilot hole with an M5 drill bit, insert plastic expansion bolts, and then secure the bracket with a PH2 screwdriver.

2. Install Batteries

Unscrew the battery cover using a PH2 screwdriver. Install 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close and secure the battery cover.

3. Mount the Blind

Outside Mount: Align the top rail with the brackets and push the blind upwards until it clicks into place. To uninstall, push the bracket button and pull the blind down.

Inside Mount: Align the top rail inside the brackets and push the blind upwards until it clicks into place. To uninstall, push the bracket button and pull the blind down.

Note: Gently shake the blind to ensure it is securely in contact with the brackets.

4. Set Bottom Position

To set the resting position for the bottom of the Smart Blind:

  1. Press the ⬆️ button on the blind or remote to retract it to the top position.
  2. Press the ⬇️ button on the blind or remote to extend it. The blind will stop automatically when the Bottom Sensor detects a surface (like the window sill or your finger). This position will be saved as the 100% position for future automatic stops when extending.
  3. Alternatively, stop the blind at the desired position, hold the bottom sensor with your finger, and press the ⬇️ button on the blind to set this as the bottom position.

Note: The bottom sensor can only be triggered when the blind is moving down.

Local Using of Smart Blind

Optimum Height

The THIRDREALITY Smart Blind supports a maximum height of 72 inches. It will automatically stop and set the position as 100% when the bottom sensor is triggered by a window sill or other obstruction. The next time the blind is lowered via voice control or the Alexa App, it will extend to this saved position.

Local Control

Control buttons are located on the blind body and the IR remote. The Smart Blind also supports App and voice control through pairing with multiple devices. A separate manual is available for pairing instructions.
