Product Overview

The package includes the Redmi Buds 6 charging case, earbuds, ear tips (L, S, D, D), a Type-C charging cable, and a user manual.

Charging Case Indicators:

• Indicator light flashes when charging.
• Indicator light stays solid when fully charged.

Earbud Controls:

• The touch-sensitive area on the earbud is used for controls.

First Time Using

Open the charging case lid. The indicator light flashes, and the earbuds enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

Wearing

Wear the earbuds in the correct orientation (L for left, R for right) and gently rotate them to a secure and comfortable position.

Charging

To charge the earbuds: Place the earbuds in the charging case and close the lid. The earbuds will begin charging.

To charge the case: Use the included Type-C cable. The indicator light will cycle while charging and remain solid when fully charged.

Turning On/Off & Sleep Mode

Turning On: When opening the charging case lid, the earbuds will automatically turn on.

Sleep Mode: Place the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid. The earbuds will disconnect and automatically enter sleep mode.

Connect & Pair

1. Open the charging case lid. Press and hold the function button for 2 seconds until the indicator light flashes, putting the earbuds into pairing mode.
2. Activate your device's Bluetooth, find and connect to "Redmi Buds 6" in the menu.

Note: Opening the case lid for the first time automatically activates pairing mode. In daily use, opening the charging case lid will automatically reconnect the earbuds to the last paired Bluetooth device (ensure the device is within range).

Dual-Device Connection

Connect the earbuds to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. After connecting to the first device, place the earbuds in the charging case with the lid open. Press and hold the function button for 2 seconds until the indicator light blinks white to pair with a second device.

Note: Dual-device connection is off by default. Enable this function in the Xiaomi Earbuds App.

Connection Disconnect

The earbuds will disconnect if they are out of range of the paired device (e.g., more than 10 meters away in an open space without obstacles).

Restoring Factory Settings

With the charging case lid open, long-press the function button for 10 seconds. The indicator light will flash continuously, indicating the earbuds have been reset.

Function Overview

Gesture operations can be customized via the Xiaomi Earbuds App.

Calls:

• Double-tap: Answer/Hang up call.
• Triple-tap: Reject incoming call.

Music:

• Double-tap: Play/Pause music.
• Triple-tap: Skip to the next track.

Noise Control:

• Long press for 2 seconds: Switch between Noise Cancelling and Transparency modes.

Connecting with App

1. Scan the QR code to download and install the Xiaomi Earbuds app to enable more features.
2. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the earbuds.

Note: Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled. Place the earbuds in the charging case, open the lid, and keep your smartphone near the case during connection.

The Xiaomi Earbuds app supports mobile phones with Android 6.0 and above, and iOS 14.0 and above. Ensure the app is updated to the latest version.
