Getting Started (English)
- Insert a proper SIM card into the SIM card slot.
- Connect the router's power adapter to a power supply. The router will then start up automatically and connect to the Internet.
- Connect your Wi-Fi device to the Wi-Fi network of the router. For the default Wi-Fi name and password, refer to the nameplate on the router.
- Log in to the web-based management page to manage your router. For details about the default IP address and login password, refer to the nameplate on the router. Alternatively, scan the QR code in the diagram to download the Huawei smart device management app.

Device Ports and Indicators:
- Landline phone port (Optional): Connect to a telephone.

- LAN/WAN port:
- Connect a LAN device (e.g., computer or switch) to the router to access the Internet.
- Connect the router to a wall-mounted Ethernet port for Internet access.

- H button: When Wi-Fi is enabled, press to enable the WPS or HiLink connection.
- Wi-Fi indicator: Steady on: Wi-Fi is enabled. Flashing: The router has detected a pairable device.
- 4G signal indicator: Steady green: Strong. Steady yellow: Moderate. Steady red: Weak.
- 5G signal indicator: Steady green: Strong. Steady yellow: Moderate. Steady red: Weak.
- Power button: Press and hold to power the router on or off.
- Reset button: Restore the router to factory settings.

Safety Information
- Ideal temperatures: 0°C to 40°C for operating, -20°C to +70°C for storage.
- Avoid using the device in a dusty, damp, or dirty place, or near a magnetic field.
- For pluggable devices, the socket-outlet shall be installed near the devices and shall be easily accessible.
- Unplug the power adapter from electrical outlets and the device when not in use.
- Consult your doctor and the device manufacturer to determine if using your device may interfere with the operation of your medical device.
- Ensure that the power adapter meets the requirements of Clause 2.5 in IEC60950-1/EN60950-1/UL60950-1 and has been tested and approved according to national or local standards.

- Software Update: The device supports automatic software updates from Huawei or your carrier. This process uses mobile data and requires access to device identifiers (IMEI/SN) and network IDs (PLMN).

Energy Saving
To save power, you can:
- Turn off the device using the power button and unplug the power adapter when not in use.
- Turn off devices connected to the modem.
- Disable Auto-sync, portable Wi-Fi hotspot, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth when not in use.
