Note: If the microphone is muted using the headset's button, the USB adapter's mute function will be unavailable.
Using This Headset
1. PC/Notebook Connections
Option 1: Connect the headset's USB port to the PC/Notebook's USB port.
Option 2: Connect the headset's 3.5mm jack to the PC's audio port and the microphone jack to the PC's microphone port. Use the USB adapter for LED light power.
Option 3: Connect the headset's USB port to the PC/Notebook's USB port.
2. Xbox ONE™ Connections
Connect the headset's 3.5mm jack to the Xbox ONE controller's audio jack. A headset adapter for Xbox (not supplied) may be required.
3. PS4™ Connections
Option 1: Connect the headset's 3.5mm jack to the PS4 controller's audio jack.
Option 2: Connect the headset's 3.5mm jack to the PS4 console's audio jack.
Option 3: Connect the headset's USB port to the PS4 console's USB port.
4. Nintendo Switch™ Connections
Connect the headset's 3.5mm jack to the Nintendo Switch console's audio jack. Note: Nintendo Switch does not support microphone input.
5. Mobile Device Connections
Connect the headset's 3.5mm jack to the mobile device's audio jack.

Tips and Recommendations
- For the best experience, turn off the 7.1 surround sound feature when listening to music.
- When playing games, turn down the volume to a low setting first, then turn on the 7.1 surround sound and adjust the volume as needed.
- Long-term exposure to loud volume may cause hearing damage. Adjust the volume to a proper level for any use.
Troubleshooting Guide
Q1. The volume can't be turned up.
Turn up the volume on the headset using the Headset Volume Control to approximately 2/3rds, then use the Adapter Volume +/- to adjust. Note: If the headset volume is low, it will limit the adapter's volume.
Q2. My teammate can't hear me.
- Ensure the microphone is unmuted on the 7.1 Surround Sound USB Adapter.
- Verify the headset is connected correctly to your device.
- Check that the connected device is not muted.
- Go to the sound settings of your device to confirm the headset microphone is enabled.
- If the issue persists, contact VANKYO support.
Q3. I can't connect the headset with Xbox directly.
A Headset Adapter for the Xbox (not supplied) is required to use this headset with Xbox.
Q4. The sound is intermittent or breaks up.
This is likely due to the device's network connection. If using wireless, move closer to the router or use a wired connection. Check if other users are overloading the network.
Q5. There is no sound from one side of the headset when connecting with PC.
- Test the headset with a mobile phone.
- Restart the PC and reconnect the headset.
- Check the L/R balance in your PC's sound settings.
- If the issue persists, contact VANKYO support.
Q6. The sound crackles or hisses.
- Excessive static electricity may cause noise; try removing it.
- Keep the headset away from sources of interference like TVs, refrigerators, or power tools.
