This appliance is designed for processing food in typical household quantities under normal domestic or household conditions and is not intended for industrial use. Household use includes, for example, use in staff kitchens of shops, offices, agricultural and other industrial enterprises, as well as by guests in boarding houses, small hotels, and similar establishments.

The appliance can only process quantities of food and for durations that are typical for a household. The hand mixer is suitable for mixing batter or liquid dishes, or for whipping cream. Its use for processing other objects or substances is prohibited.

Please keep these operating instructions in a safe place. When transferring this household electrical appliance to another owner, do not forget to hand over these instructions as well.

Operation

Using the Hand Mixer (Whisks and Dough Hooks)

Figure B & C:

  1. Insert the desired attachments (whisk(s) or dough hook(s)) into the corresponding openings and push them in until they lock with an audible "click".
  2. Ensure the appliance is switched off (speed selector at 0/Off).
  3. Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
  4. Select the desired speed (1-5) or use momentary action (M).
  5. To remove attachments, press the eject button (6) after ensuring the appliance is switched off and the attachments have stopped rotating.

Speed Settings:

Whisks (12): Suitable for whipping cream, egg whites, making mayonnaise, sauces, milk foam, and light batters like sponge cake batter. Not suitable for thick doughs.

Dough Hooks (13): Suitable for kneading thick doughs (e.g., shortcrust, yeast, potato dough) and for mixing heavy minced meat, pastes, or bread dough. Maximum quantity: 500g flour.

Using the Immersion Blender (14)

Figure D:

  1. Ensure the lock slider (8) is in the position to open the rear attachment opening (11) and close the front attachment openings (7).
  2. Insert the immersion blender attachment into the rear opening until it clicks into place.
  3. Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
  4. Place the ingredients in a suitable container.
  5. Immerse the blender into the mixture before switching it on (use momentary action M).
  6. Slowly move the blender up and down to ensure thorough mixing.
  7. Switch off the appliance and unplug it before removing the blender.
  8. To remove the immersion blender, press the release buttons (9) simultaneously.

Important: To avoid splashing, always immerse the blender in the mixture before switching it on. Switch off the appliance before removing the blender.

Using the Universal Chopper (16)

Figure A & Page 2:

  1. Assemble the chopper: Place the knife (2) onto the drive shaft in the container (1).
  2. Add ingredients to the container (1).
  3. Place the lid (4) on the container and turn it clockwise until it locks with a "click".
  4. Attach the assembled chopper to the main unit.
  5. Ensure the lock slider (8) is in the position to open the front attachment openings (7) and close the rear opening (11).
  6. Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
  7. Use the momentary action (M) for short bursts of chopping. Refer to Figure C for recommended quantities and processing times.
  8. Switch off the appliance and unplug it before disassembling.
  9. To remove the chopper, press the release buttons (9) simultaneously.

⚠️ Important: Never put your hand into the chopper container. Never clean the knife with your bare hand; use a brush. Only hold the knife by its plastic handle.

The universal chopper container must not be used in a microwave oven.

Do not immerse the chopper attachment in liquids or wash it in the dishwasher.

Note: For frozen products or very hard ingredients (e.g., coffee beans, sugar, radishes), do not use the universal chopper.

Cleaning

⚠️ Risk of electric shock: Never immerse the main unit in liquid or wash it in a dishwasher. Do not use a steam cleaner.

Note: The surface of the appliance may be damaged. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.

Troubleshooting

Problem: The speed selector cannot be set to any of the 5 speeds.

Solution: The speed selector does not function when the rear attachment opening is open.

Problem: The lock slider is stiff or does not move at all.

Solution: Lightly press the slider inwards and try to move it.

Note: All ingredients should be at the same temperature!

Recommendation: You can also prepare mayonnaise using only egg yolks with this recipe. In this case, use only half the amount of vegetable oil indicated.

The service life of small household appliances (excluding food processors and vacuum cleaners) is 2 years. The service life of food processors and vacuum cleaners is 5 years. The service life is calculated from the date of purchase, or if this cannot be determined, from the date of manufacture indicated on the appliance's type label. According to the manufacturer's standard, the manufacturing date is marked FD YYMM, where YY is the year of manufacture minus 1920, and MM is the month of manufacture.
