2. POC-40 Series Front Panel
Diagram Description: The front panel features various ports and indicators. From left to right, it includes USB 2.0 ports, system status LEDs, Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB 3.1 Gen1 ports, and a System Status LED block.
Ports and Indicators:
- USB 2.0 Port: Offers up to 480Mbit/s bandwidth, backward compatible with USB 1.1/1.0. Implemented via native xHCI, supporting legacy USB for DOS environments. Windows 10 has native xHCI driver support.
- Gb Ethernet Port: Two Gigabit Ethernet ports using Intel® I210 GbE controller. RJ45 connector LEDs indicate connection status (Off: Disconnected, Orange: Connected/No Data, Flashing: Connected/Data Transmitting).
- USB 3.1 Gen1 Port: Two SuperSpeed USB ports offering up to 5Gbit/s data transfer, backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1/1.0. Implemented via native xHCI. Windows 10 has native xHCI driver support.
- DisplayPort: Digital display output supporting up to 4K UHD (4096 x 2160 @ 30Hz). Supports passive DP adapter/cable. DP-to-HDMI or DP-to-DVI cables can be used. Requires corresponding graphics drivers for optimal resolution in Windows.
- Reset Button: A small button used to manually reset the system during halt or malfunction. Requires a pin-like object (e.g., pen tip) to access.
- 4-pin Terminal Block: Accepts DC power input from 12 to 20V. Can also accept ignition signal input (IGN).
⚠️ Warning: Ensure correct DC power voltage (12-20V) before connecting. Over 20V will damage the system.

3. POC-40 Top Panel

COM Port Details:
COM Port 1 (RS-232/422/485)
COM1 is a software-configurable RS-232/422/485 port via a 9-pin D-Sub male connector. Operation mode, slew rate, and termination can be set in BIOS setup utility.

COM Ports 2, 3, 4 (RS-232)
COM2 is a 3-port 9-wire RS-232 port. It can connect to one external device directly or up to three devices using an optional 1-to-3 Y-cable.
