Appropriate Tools
The following tools are recommended for disassembly and assembly:
- Screwdriver: Select appropriate size and head based on screw specifications.
- Plastic Blade: For prying and separating components.
- Plastic Tweezers: For handling and tidying cables.
- Thickness Gauge: For measuring gaps (0.05mm-1.5mm).
- Magnetism Board: To organize screws and prevent mixing.
- Alcohol 95%: For cleaning thermal paste residue.
- Glove: For handling components cleanly.
- Dust-free Cloth: For cleaning.
- Thermal Grease: For CPU/GPU thermal management.
- Cable Tie: For cable management.
- Needle nose pliers: For gripping small parts.
Disassembly Steps
Slide Door
Disassembly Notice: ⚠️ Please be sure to pull out adapter and disconnect the battery.
Steps:
- Remove screws (4 pcs).
- Pull the side doors (2 pcs).

VGA CARD
Disassembly Notice: ⚠️ Please be sure to pull out adapter and disconnect the battery.
Steps:
- Disconnect (yellow mark) connector (1 pc).
- Open the door.
- Remove screws (4 pcs).
- Press and unlock the VGA card.
- Take out the VGA card.

FAN
Disassembly Notice: ⚠️ Please be sure to pull out adapter and disconnect the battery.
Steps:
- Disconnect (yellow mark) FAN connector (1 pc).
- Remove 4 screws on the outside of the iron grid.
- Take out the Fan (1 pc).

- Unlock then remove DDR (4 pcs).
- Remove screw (1 pc) then take out the SSD (1 pc).

2nd M.2 SSD
Assembly Notice: ⚠️ Please be sure to pull out adapter and disconnect the battery.
Assembly Steps:
- Install stand off to lock (1 pc, yellow mark).
- Install M.2 SSD (1 pc).
- Lock screw (1 pc).

CPU COOLER
Disassembly Notice: ⚠️ Please be sure to pull out adapter and disconnect the battery.
Steps:
- Disconnect CPU_FAN connector.
- Unscrew (4 pcs) CPU buckle.
- Remove the CPU Cooler.
Diagram Description: The steps show disconnecting the CPU fan cable, unscrewing four mounting screws or clips securing the cooler, and then lifting the cooler off the CPU. A note advises to gently wiggle the cooler if it's difficult to remove.
MAIN BOARD & WIFI CARD & CPU
Disassembly Notice: ⚠️ Please be sure to pull out adapter and disconnect the battery.
Steps:
- Disconnect (yellow mark) connectors (6 pcs).
- Remove screws (8 pcs, Red & Blue mark).
- Remove screw (1 pc) and antenna (2 pcs, Green mark).
- Take out the Main Board.
- Remove the CPU.

CPU Disassembly Notice: Pin facing down on Processor packaging to protect the CPU.
CPU Assembly Instructions: CPU triangle must be aligned to MB triangle. Then, lock the CPU.
Diagram Description: The process involves disconnecting various cables (yellow), unscrewing motherboard mounting screws (red/blue), removing a specific screw and antennas (green), lifting out the motherboard, and finally removing the CPU by pressing down on retention clips and lifting.
MAIN BOARD
Assembly Notice: Please follow the below image to Add sponge (4 pcs, red mark) on motherboard DIMM Area.

MAIN BOARD with CPU COOLER & CPU
Assembly Notice: ⚠️ Please be sure to pull out adapter and disconnect the battery.
Instructions:
- Ensure thermal material is re-applied to the CPU Die if the thermal module is reassembled.
- Use dust-free cloth with 95% alcohol to clean residual thermal grease on CPU & GPU Die.
- Use a plastic tool (plastic stick) to apply Thermal Grease over the CPU, approximately 0.2~0.3mm thick.
Attention:
- Clean plastic tool with Dust-free cloth and 95% alcohol before use.
- Mix thermal grease well before use to prevent oil-grease separation.

FRONT COVER AND LED BOARD
Disassembly Notice: ⚠️ Please be sure to pull out adapter and disconnect the battery.
Steps:
- Pull the latch slightly away.
- Turn over the front case and disconnect the connectors (3 pcs of cable inside).
- Tear off the Mylar.
- Disconnect FFC (2 pcs).
- Remove screws (7 pcs).
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove screws (2 pcs) located on the LED BD. SIDEDOWN.
- Take out the LED BD. SIDEDOWN (1 pc).

Notice: Please note there are cable retainers on the front case and mainframe.
Assembly Notice: If FFC is damaged during disassembly, please replace it with a new one. Samples of FFC damage are shown.

LED CR BD for 2D (Metal side door) SKU only
Assembly Notice: Before assembling the cable on the LED CR BD, please add 2 pcs ACETATE tape on the LED CR BD Pin as shown in the picture.

Assembly Notice: Before assembling two cables, please follow below to paste ACETATE TAPE.

Steps:
- Step 1-1: Winding the two cables with ACETATE TAPE to increase the insulation layer.
- Step 1-2: Double arrow (angle between 10~80mm).
Note: The two cables are GL10DH SATA CABLE 15P F/P 430MM and CABLE USB2.0 CRB TO MB L750.

POWER SWITCH
Disassembly Notice: ⚠️ Please be sure to pull out AC POWER CORD.
Steps:
- Push hooks then take out POWER SW CABLE with POWER SWITCH HOLDER from CHASSIS.
- Push hooks then separate POWER SW CABLE and POWER SWITCH HOLDER.
Assembly Notice:
- When reusing an old POWER SWITCH HOLDER, please ensure the hooks are not broken or deformed.
- Please follow the images to assemble the POWER SW CABLE and POWER SWITCH HOLDER.
Diagram Description: The procedure shows releasing and taking out the power switch cable and holder assembly by pushing release tabs. Then, it shows separating the cable from the holder by releasing more hooks.
TOP COVER AND FRONT IO BD AND LED BD
Disassembly Notice: ⚠️ Please be sure to pull out adapter and disconnect the battery.
Steps:
- Disconnect connectors (1 pc) and remove screws (3 pcs) located on the LED BD. SIDEUP.
- Remove screws (2 pcs).
- Pull the latch slightly away from the edge case until it's detached.
- Take out the Top Case.
- Disconnect connectors (2 pcs) and remove screw (1 pc) on the Front IO BD.
- Remove screws (2 pcs).
- Pull the IO BD bracket.
- Remove Screws (2 pcs).
- Remove the Front IO BD.

FIO USB CABLE
Assembly Notice: ⚠️ Please be sure to pull out adapter and disconnect the battery.
Assembly Criteria:
- Make sure the acetate is attached to the Cable plug.
- Make sure the acetate is attached to the connector.
- Make sure the acetate is securely attached to the surface of the part on each side when wrapping.

HDD

Steps:
- Remove screws (4 pcs).
- Disconnect the connectors (2 pcs).
- Take out the HDD.

POWER SUPPLY

- Take out the POWER SUPPLY.

WIFI MAIN ANTENNA
Disassembly Notice: ⚠️ Please be sure to pull out adapter and disconnect the battery.
Steps:
- Tear off the Gasket and ANTENNA (2 pcs).
- Take out ANTENNA.
Assembly Notice:
- Please follow the red and yellow marks to paste the Antenna and gasket.
- Clip the 2 Antenna cables into a hook at the place Point 1~3.

CABLE ASSEMBLY
