Caution: Do not touch the basket during and about use, as it gets very hot. Only hold the basket by the handle.
General notes:
1. Some ingredients require shaking halfway through the preparation time (see section 'Settings' in this chapter). To shake the ingredients, you can pull the frying basket out of the appliance by the handle and gently shake it. Alternatively you can use tongs or similar utensil to change the orientation of the food items, then slide the frying basket back into the air fryer. 2. When cooking is complete, place the frying basket on a heat-resistant surface. 3. At the completion of any preset cooking duration, check whether the food items are ready. If not, you can simply slide the frying basket back into the appliance and cook for an extra few minutes. 4. Empty the basket into a bowl or onto a plate. Tip: To remove large or fragile ingredients, you can use a pair of tongs to lift the food items out of the frying basket.
Note: When you use the Air Fryer for the first time, a slight smoke or odour may be emitted. This is normal and will soon disappear. It is essential to ensure that there is sufficient ventilation around the Air Fryer.
Settings
Apart from the preset menu, you also can use the air fryer to make other food by setting the time and temperature. This table below helps you to select the basic settings for the food types you want to prepare.
Cooking Tips Air Fryer and Parts will become hot during the cooking process. Do not over fill Frying basket with foods. Do not pack foods into Frying basket. Using Oil Adding a small amount of oil to food can make them crispier. Oil sprays are good for applying small amounts of oil evenly to food. Food Tips To make cakes, hand-pies, or any foods with filling or batter, you can place foods in heat-safe container and place in the frying basket. Pat dry foods with marinades before adding to Frying basket. Reheating Foods Simply set temperature to 150 for up to 10 minutes. COOKING GUIDE Note: these settings are a guide. As ingredients differ in size shape and brand, you may need to adjust cooking times and temperatures. Note: It is better to add 3 minutes to the preparation time before you start frying if the appliance is cold.

CLEANING

Clean the appliance after every use.
The frying baskets and drain trays have a non-stick coating. Do not use metal kitchen utensils or abrasive cleaning materials to clean them, as this may damage the non-stick coating. 1. Remove the mains plug from the wall socket and let the appliance cool down.
Note: Remove the frying basket to let the air fryer cool down more quickly. 2. Wipe the outside of the appliance with a moist cloth. 3. Clean the frying baskets and trays with hot water, some washing liquid and a nonabrasive sponge. You can use washing liquid to remove any remaining dirt.
Note: The frying baskets and drain trays are not intended for dishwasher use. Tip: If food residue is stuck to the baskets, or at the bottom of the drain tray, fill the baskets with hot water and add some dish washing liquid, leave to soak for approximately 10 minutes.
STORAGE
1 Unplug the appliance and let it cool down. 2 Make sure all parts are clean and dry. 3 Store in a dry dust free environment protected from exposure to excessive heat and moisture.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

Problem The Air Fryer does
not work
The food is not cooked properly

Possible cause The appliance is not
plugged in. The cavity has been over-filled with food The preparation time is
too short.

Solution Put the mains plug in an earthed wall socket.
Put smaller batches of ingredients in the air fryer oven. Smaller batches are fried more evenly. Set the time to the desired temperature setting on the control panel.

The set temperature is Set the temperature to the desired temperature

too low.

setting on the control panel.

Fried snacks are not crispy when they come out of the air fryer.
Fresh fries are fried unevenly in the air
fryer.
Fresh fries are not crispy when they come out of the air
fryer.

You used a type of snacks meant to be prepared in a traditional
deep fryer. The drip tray still contains grease residues from previous
use. The incorrect potato
type was used The potato pieces were
not properly rinsed before you fried them.
The crispiness of the fries depends on the amount of oil and water
in the fries.

Use oven snacks or lightly brush some oil onto the snacks for a crispier result.
White smoke is caused by grease heating up in the drip tray. Make sure you clean the drip tray properly after each use.
Use fresh potatoes and make sure they stay firm during frying. Rinse the potato pieces properly to remove starch from the surface. For best results, soak freshly peeled, cut and washed potato fries in water overnight to extract excess starch, this prevents fries sticking to each other & helps to achieve crispy fries. Ensure the potato sticks are dried properly before oiling them. Cut the potato sticks smaller for a crispier result. Add slightly more oil for a crispier result.
