The EcoFlow DELTA 3 1500 (referred to as "DELTA 3 1500" or "the power station") is a power station featuring a LiFePO4 battery with a capacity of 1536Wh. It offers multiple outputs, including standard AC sockets, USB-A ports, USB-C ports, 12V DC ports, and an Extra Battery port, supporting various appliances and devices. Its diverse charging options allow for easy switching between methods based on your needs.
Appearance and Controls
Front Panel Description
The front panel features the following:
- 1. Main Power Button: Used for powering the station on/off and controlling the display screen.
- 2. USB Output Control Button: Enables or disables USB-C and USB-A output ports.
- 3. USB-C Output Ports: High-speed USB-C charging ports.
- 4. USB-A Output Ports: Standard USB-A output ports.
- 5. USB-A Output Ports (Fast Charging): USB-A ports supporting fast charging protocols.
- 6. Bluetooth Pairing Indicator: Shows Bluetooth connection status (solid for connected, off for disconnected).
- 7. Display Screen: Shows battery level, input/output power, time remaining, Wi-Fi status, and other indicators.
- 12. AC Overload Protection Switch: A switch that pops up when AC input current exceeds 20A for self-protection.

Control Button Functions
Main Power Button
Power On/Off: Long press for 1 second to turn on; long press for 2 seconds to turn off.
Screen On/Off: Press once after the station is on to toggle the display screen.
Reset IoT Connections: While the station is off, long press until the power-on animation appears twice to reset Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. An indicator on this button flashes white during firmware updates.
USB Output Control Button
Press once to enable or disable USB-C and USB-A output ports.
12V DC Output Control Button
Enables or disables the 12V DC output ports.
AC Output Control Button
AC Output On/Off: Press once to enable or disable AC outputs.
Change AC Operating Frequency: Press and hold for 10 seconds to change the AC output frequency.
AC Overload Protection Switch
This switch automatically pops up if the AC input current continuously exceeds 20A, activating self-protection. Press the switch to resume charging after addressing the issue. Refer to the "Error Message" section for details.
Bluetooth Pairing Indicator
Solid: Bluetooth connection successful. Off: Wi-Fi connected, Bluetooth disconnected (e.g., phone's Bluetooth is off). Refer to the "Control via EcoFlow App" chapter for more information.
Display Screen Details
The display screen provides the following information:
- 1. Remaining Charging/Discharging Time: Estimated time left.
- 2. Battery Level: Percentage of battery remaining.
- 3. Fan Status: Indicates if the fan is active.
- 4. Total Input Power: Current power being received.
- 5. Total Output Power: Current power being delivered.
- 6. Discharge/Recharge Level Limitation: Indicates current limits.
- 7. Wi-Fi Connection: Status of the Wi-Fi connection.
- 8. 12V DC Output: Status of the 12V DC output.
- 9. USB-C Output: Status of USB-C output.
- 10. USB-A Output: Status of USB-A output.
- 11. AC Output: Status of AC output.
- 12. Extra Battery: Indicates if an extra battery is connected.
The "Mins" or "Hours" icon flashes during an automated task and returns to solid or off when the task is completed.
Error Message
If an alarm prompt appears on the display screen during use and does not disappear after restarting, stop using the product immediately. Do not attempt to charge or discharge. For issues not covered, contact EcoFlow Customer Service. A troubleshooting section is available.
Getting Started
Power On/Off
Power On: Long press the main power button for 1 second.
Power Off: Long press the main power button for 2 seconds.
Screen On/Off
After the power station is turned on, press the main power button once to turn the display screen on or off.
Note: The power station cannot be turned off via the main power button if it is receiving charging input. Unplug the charging cable first.
Control via EcoFlow App
The EcoFlow app offers comprehensive device management. With the app, you can:
- Enjoy all-in-one control of EcoFlow devices from anywhere.
- Monitor power consumption with real-time updates.
- Personalize energy schemes with customizable options.
- Receive in-app troubleshooting and firmware updates promptly.

Bind Device and Set Up Internet
After registering an EcoFlow account, bind your devices for remote access. To bind a new device:
- Open the EcoFlow app and log in.
- Tap the "Add Device" button or ➕ icon in the top right corner to search for new devices.
- Select your EcoFlow device and follow the on-screen instructions for binding and Wi-Fi setup.
Troubleshooting Bluetooth Discovery
If you cannot discover the power station via Bluetooth, try these steps:
- Power Off: Press and hold the Main Power button for 2 seconds to turn off the station.
- Reset Bluetooth: While off, press and hold the Main Power button for at least 5 seconds after the screen turns on to reset all Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections.
- Power On & Retry: Press and hold the Main Power button for 2 seconds to turn on the station and search again.
- If problems persist, contact technical support.
Bluetooth Standby Tip: Bluetooth power standby keeps Bluetooth enabled when the station is off, allowing remote activation via the EcoFlow App. This feature consumes some power; adjust the Bluetooth Timeout setting in the app if needed.
Control via Phone
The app allows management of all bound EcoFlow devices. The station supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections for convenient access.
With Internet: Stable Wi-Fi allows internet-based access, recommended for timely firmware updates.
Without Internet: If Wi-Fi is limited, manage the station locally via Bluetooth.

Power Your Appliances
Press the USB/12V DC/AC output control button to enable power supply. Connect your appliances to the corresponding output ports.
Via USB Output Ports
The USB output ports support the following charging protocols:

Use a compatible USB charging cable for best results. Maximum output power may be limited if the cable or device does not support the specified protocol.
Via 12V DC Output Ports
When powering appliances via the cigarette lighter port, ensure they meet the appliance's instantaneous starting current/voltage requirements. The 12V DC Output ports support a total power output of 126W.
Via AC Output Sockets
AC Operating Frequency: Press and hold the AC output control button for 10 seconds to change the AC output frequency.
AC Timeout Tip: The AC output port automatically turns off if idle for a period. For intermittent loads (e.g., refrigerators, air conditioners), this feature might trigger. To ensure continuous power for critical items (medicines, vaccines), set the AC timeout interval to "never" in the EcoFlow app. Regularly check the battery level.
Via Extra Battery Output Port (XT150)
Connect compatible EcoFlow products (supporting XT150 charging) to the Extra Battery port using an EcoFlow extra battery cable. This port supports both power input and output. Refer to the "Charge Your Power Station" chapter for details.
Notice: Ensure the power station is connected to a power source when charging an extra battery.
Charge Your Power Station
From the Wall Outlet
Connect the power station's AC input port to a wall outlet using the provided AC charging cable. The input port supports a maximum charging power of 1500W; charging speed can be adjusted in the EcoFlow app.
AC Charging Overload Protection: The switch pops up if AC input current exceeds 20A. Press to resume charging after troubleshooting. Refer to "Error Message" for details.
From the Solar
The station has one XT60i input port for solar and car charging. For solar charging:
- Connect the port to solar panel(s) using an EcoFlow Solar to XT60i Charging Cable (sold separately).
- Ensure the total open circuit voltage (Voc) of the solar panel(s) is within 60V, and the total short circuit current (Isc) is within 15A to prevent damage.
- Refer to the solar panel's manual for series or parallel connection details.
From the Car
Connect the station's car charging input port to your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket using the provided car charging cable.
Note: To avoid start failure due to insufficient car battery, connect the cable after the vehicle is started and ensure it is securely connected.
From a Generator
Method 1: Via the AC Input Port: Connect the power station's AC input port to a generator using the provided AC charging cable.
Method 2: Via the Extra Battery Port: Connect the power station to an EcoFlow generator's XT150 port using the EcoFlow extra battery cable. (Only supports EcoFlow Smart Generators)
From EcoFlow Microinverter
Connect the power station to the microinverter using the EcoFlow BKW-DELTA EB Cable (sold separately). This enables solar energy use day and night and reduces energy bills.
From EcoFlow Alternator Charger
Connect the power station to the portable power station port of the charger using the XT150 output cable.
Advanced Features
Expand Battery Capacity
For extended usage or during power outages, extra battery capacity can be installed. Connect the extra battery to the power station's Extra Battery port. The battery icon on the screen will confirm successful installation.
X-Boost: Powering High-Wattage Appliances
X-Boost is an EcoFlow technology allowing the power station to support appliances with higher power requirements than its rated output.
How to Use: X-Boost is enabled by default. Adjust settings in the EcoFlow app.
Supported Devices: Best for heating devices (electric blankets, water heaters, heat pumps). It does not support devices with voltage protection (e.g., precise instruments), which may stop working due to low voltage.
Notice: X-Boost is unavailable when the power station is charging or in bypass mode. Bypass mode is automatically enabled when recharging and discharging simultaneously via AC input/output ports.

Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS): Backup for Essential Devices
The power station can function as a UPS, providing continuous backup power during grid outages. It acts as a standby UPS with a 15 ms transfer time. When grid power fails, it automatically switches to battery power for connected appliances.
Basic Setup
- Connect the power station to a wall outlet for grid power access.
- Connect appliances to the power station to provide power during outages.
Notice: In this setup, the power station requires more grid input than output to charge and maintain its batteries. Otherwise, it cannot function as a UPS without sufficient charge.
Storage and Maintenance
Storage
- Optimal Storage Temperature: 68°F-86°F (20°C-30°C).
- Avoid temperatures above 113°F (45°C) or below 14°F (-10°C).
- Store in a tidy, dry, and well-ventilated place.
- Keep away from liquids, intense heat, and sharp objects.
- For long-term storage, discharge to 0% and recharge to 60% every 3 months to maintain battery health.
Notice: The warranty may be void if the product is not charged or discharged for over 6 months.
Cleaning
Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe and clean the product.
Maintain Battery Health
- Avoid leaving the product unused for extended periods.
- Charge and discharge the product every 3 months to increase its lifespan.

Grounding Instructions
This product must be grounded. If it malfunctions, grounding provides a path of least resistance to reduce electric shock risk. Use the provided grounded cord and plug. Ensure the outlet is properly installed and grounded according to local codes. Improper grounding can cause electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician if unsure about grounding or if the plug does not fit the outlet.
Storage
Follow temperature requirements. Avoid degradation or personal safety risks from extreme temperatures. Do not use near heat sources. Keep dry; use a waterproof bag in wet environments. Avoid static electricity or magnetic fields. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from fumes, smoke, steam, and dust. Store in a tidy, dry, well-ventilated place. Do not carry onto a plane. Avoid severe impacts, vibrations, or drops.
In Case of Emergency
Take precautions against electric shock (e.g., wear insulating gloves) before touching the product. If wet, stop operation, place in a secure area, and contact Customer Service. If submerged, place in a secure area and keep away until completely dry; do not reuse. For fires, use water/mist, sand, fire blanket, dry powder, or CO2 extinguisher. If overturned/damaged, wear insulating gloves to turn off, place in an open area, and dispose of according to regulations.
Recycling and Disposal
Dispose of severely damaged, malfunctioning, or depleted products properly. Follow local laws for battery disposal and recycling; do not mix with household waste.
