HyperX Cloud III Gaming Headset
Quick Start Guide
Overview
The HyperX Cloud III gaming headset features:
- A - Mic mute button: Press to mute/unmute the microphone.
- B - Microphone port: Connect the detachable microphone here.
- C - Volume wheel: Scroll up or down to adjust the volume level.
- D - Detachable microphone: A flexible and detachable microphone.
- E - Microphone mute LED: Indicates when the microphone is muted (LED On) or active (LED Off).
- F - USB dongle: Connects the headset wirelessly to your device.
- G - USB-C to USB-A adapter: Allows connection to USB-A ports.
Usage
Setting up with PC
1. Right-click the speaker icon in the system tray.
2. Select "Open Sound settings".
3. Select "Sound control panel".
Playback Device: Set the default playback device to "HyperX Cloud III".
Recording Device: Set the default recording device to "HyperX Cloud III".
Mic Mute Button
Press the button to turn the microphone mute on/off.
- LED On: Mic muted
- LED Off: Mic active
Volume Wheel
Scroll up or down to adjust the volume level.
WARNING: Permanent hearing damage can occur if a headset is used at high volumes for extended periods of time.

Download the NGENUITY software from hyperx.com/ngenuity. NGENUITY software features include:
