IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. Important: Read all instructions carefully before using the appliance.
2. To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons, do not immerse frother, plug or power cord in water or any other liquid. See instructions for cleaning.
3. This appliance should not be used by or near children or individuals with certain disabilities.
4. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, before removing milk and before cleaning.
5. Do not operate appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Contact Aroma® customer service for examination, repair or electrical/ mechanical adjustment.
6. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by Aroma® Housewares may result in fire, electrical shock or injury.
7. Do not use outdoors.
8. Do not let power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
9. CAUTION: To prevent overflow while frothing, do not allow liquids to exceed the MAX line for the intended operation.
10. Do not place appliance on or near a gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
11. Always unplug from plug gripping area. Never pull on the power cord.

12. Do not use frother for other than its intended use.
13. The power base must only be used with the provided frother.
14. Do not unscrew any screws on the frother or power base or attempt to disassemble them in any way.
15. Use only on a level, dry and heatresistant surface.
16. Do not move the frother during the heating process.
17. The frother should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other operating appliances. If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances the frother may not operate properly.
18. Use only with a 120V AC power outlet.
19. To disconnect, first power off the unit, then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
20. Do not operate the appliance while empty.
21. The lid must be placed on the frother during operation.
22. WARNING: Do not use the appliance if the frother or power base is cracked.
23. WARNING: Do not remove the lid while liquids is frothing. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the frothing cycle.
24. Do not immerse the power base in water.

Short Cord Instructions
1. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
2. Longer extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
3. If a longer extension cord is used: a.) The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. b.) The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or tabletop where it can be pulled by children or tripped over unintentionally.

Polarized Plug
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other); follow the instructions below: To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way. Before First Use
1. Read all instructions and important safeguards. 2. Remove all packaging materials and make sure
that the product has been received in good condition. 3. Tear up all plastic bags and dispose of them properly as they can pose a risk to children. 4. Clean the interior of the frother with a soft sponge and warm, soapy water. Take care to keep the electrical components on the exterior of the frother dry. 5. With a damp cloth, gently wipe the exterior of the frother. Hand wash all parts (lid, frother interior and whisk) except the power base. Do not wipe electrical components as this may cause damage to the unit. 6. Dry all parts thoroughly.
To Clean
Always unplug and allow unit to cool completely before cleaning.
1. Always remove the frother from the power base before cleaning.
2. The power base with cord cannot be cleaned in dishwasher. Clean it with a soft cloth only.
3. The frother is not dishwasher-safe. Do not immerse the power base into water.
4. To clean the inside of the frother: Clean immediately after each use. Scrub and rinse the walls using a soft sponge and warm, soapy water.
5. To clean the lid: Separate the silicon ring from the lid before washing and rinsing both pieces with water. Reassemble the ring into the lid before reuse or storage.
6. To clean the whisk: Remove the whisk from the frother. Wash with warm water. Dry thoroughly before placing it back the frother.
5. Dry the interior and exterior of the frother thoroughly before placing it back on the power base.

Caution:
Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners, scouring pads or products that are not considered safe to use on nonstick coatings. This will cause damage to the finish and may create a risk of electrical shock.
Never attempt to disassemble the frother.
Never immerse the frother, power cord or plug in water.
Always take care not to allow electrical components to come into contact with water.
Do not attempt to heat or froth less milk than the MIN level, or 70ml.
Note:
· Any other servicing should be performed by Aroma® Housewares.

To Froth Hot Milk
1. Place the power base on a sturdy, level and dry surface.
2. Open the lid and snap the whisk into the frother.
3. Place the frother on the power base. Plug the power cord into an available 120V AC wall outlet.
4. Pour milk into the frother. Put the lid on firmly by pushing it down slightly. Be careful not to exceed the MAX FROTH line, or 110ml.
5. To froth hot milk for cappuccino: Press the control button once, and the Red indicator light will illuminate to show that the unit is in operation.
6. After approximately 120 seconds, the frother will shut off automatically.
7. To froth hot milk for latte: Press the control button twice in a row, and the Purple indicator light will illuminate to show that the unit is in operation.
8. After approximately 100 seconds, the frother will shut off automatically.
9. The LED light will flash for 10 seconds to indicate frothing is done. This process can be interrupted at any time by pressing the control button.
10. When finished, safely unplug the power cord.

Caution:
Do not exceed the MAX FROTH line, or 110ml, when frothing the milk using Red and Purple indicator light functions.
After heating or frothing hot milk, the frother and the milk will be very hot, reaching about 160°F. Handle with care.

To Heat Milk
1. Place the power base on a sturdy, level and dry surface.
2. Open the lid and snap the whisk into the frother.
3. Place the frother on the power base. Plug the power cord into an available 120V AC wall outlet.
4. Pour milk into the frother. Be careful not to exceed the MAX HEAT line, or 200ml.
5. Press the control button three times in a row, and the Yellow indicator light will illuminate to show that the unit is in operation.
6. After approximately 100 seconds, the frother will shut off automatically.
7. The LED light will flash for 10 seconds to indicate heating is done. This process can be interrupted at any time by pressing the control button.
8. When finished, safely unplug the power cord.

To Froth Cold Milk
1. Place the power base on a sturdy, level and dry surface.
2. Open the lid and snap the whisk into the frother.
3. Place the frother on the power base. Plug the power cord into an available 120V AC wall outlet.
4. Pour milk into the frother. Put the lid on firmly by pushing it down slightly. Be careful not to exceed the MAX FROTH line, or 110ml.
5. To froth cold milk for iced coffee: Press the control button four times in a row, and the Blue indicator light will illuminate to show that the unit is in operation.
6. After approximately 120 seconds, the frother will shut off automatically.
7. The LED light will flash for 10 seconds to indicate frothing is done. This process can be interrupted at any time by pressing the control button.
8. When finished, safely unplug the power cord.

Caution:
Do not attempt to heat or froth less milk than the MIN level, or 70ml.

Recipes

Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam

1/4 cup 2 tbsp

half & half vanilla syrup

Snap the whisk into the frother and add half & half along with vanilla syrup. Press the control button four times consecutively until the Blue indicator light illuminates. Once finished, safely unplug the frother and pour this delightful Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam into your favorite cold drink.
SERVES 1.

Hot Cocoa

1/2 cup 1 tbsp 3 tsp 1 tsp ----

milk cocoa powder sugar vanilla extract pinch of salt

Snap the whisk into the frother and add all ingredients into the milk frother. Press the control button three times consecutively until the Yellow indicator light illuminates. Once finished, safely unplug the frother, pour the velvety frothed cocoa into a mug, and serve immediately.

Within this warranty period, Aroma Housewares Company will repair or replace, at its discretion, defective parts at no charge. All liability is limited to the amount of the purchase price.
This warranty does not apply if the warranty period expired; the product has been modified by any unauthorized service center or personnel; the defect was subject to abuse, improper use not conforming to product manual instructions, or environmental conditions more severe than those specified in the manual and specification, neglect of the owner or improper installation; the defect was subject to Force Majeure such as flood, fire, lightning, earthquake, other natural calamities, war. The warranty excludes accessories and replacement parts. This warranty is void if the product is used for other than single-family household use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other than as specified on the rating label (e.g., 120V ~ 60Hz).
Aroma's sole obligation under the warranty shall be to replace the defective product with a working one or a similar model of equivalent value, if the same model is not available, in the occurrence of any failure or defect covered under the warranty during the warranty period. Refurbished items or items not purchased through an authorized retailer are not eligible for warranty claims. Transportation charges on parts, or products in whole, submitted for repair or replacement, under this warranty, must be borne by the purchaser.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, which may vary from state to state, and does not cover areas outside the United States.
