WARNING
NW501-04
A wide variety of components used on this vessel contain or emit chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects and other reproductive harm.
EXAMPLES INCLUDE:
• Engine and generator exhaust
• Engine and generator fuel, and other liquids such as coolants and oil, especially used motor oil.
• Cooking fuels
• Cleaners, paints, and substances used for vessel repair.
• Waste materials that result from wear of vessel components.
• Lead from battery terminals and from other sources such as ballast or fishing sinkers.
TO AVOID HARM:
• Keep away from engine, generator, and cooking fuel exhaust fumes.
• Wash areas thoroughly with soap and water after handling the substances above.
California Health & Safety Code § § 25249-.13

WARNING
USE CAUTION WITH SKIER IN TOW AS TOW ROPE MAY BACKLASH INTO COCKPIT WHEN RELEASED

DANGER
TO AVOID RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH
SHUT OFF ENGINE WHEN NEAR SWIMMERS OR PRIOR TO USING SWIM PLATFORM AND BOARDING LADDER.

DANGER
STAY CLEAR OF MOVING PARTS WHILE ENGINE IS RUNNING.

CAUTION
PRIOR TO TOWING VESSEL:
• LOCK PROPELLER SHAFT(S) TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO SHAFT SEAL AND TRANSMISSION BEARINGS.
• CLOSE SEACOCKS ON NON-OPERATING ENGINES TO PREVENT SEA WATER INGESTION.

WARNING
IN CASE OF FIRE, DO NOT OPEN ENGINE COMPARTMENT.
SHUT DOWN ENGINES, GENERATORS OR BLOWERS CONTINUOUSLY DISCHARGE ENTIRE CONTENTS OF HALON OR CO2 FIRE EXTINGUISHER THROUGH PORT IMMEDIATELY.
ONLY ON BOATS WITHOUT AN OPTIONAL AUTOMATIC FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

DANGER
CARBON MONOXIDE CAN BE FATAL. In all gasoline powered boats, engine exhaust systems produce colorless, odorless carbon monoxide gas ('CO'). Direct prolonged exposure can result in CO poisoning which may be harmful or fatal. To prevent excess exposure and reduce the possibility of CO accumulation in and about the boat, the operator should include adequate ventilation through utilization of cabin air circulation, hatches and walk throughs to increase air movement through the boat. The operator's participation in certain conditions may contribute to the accumulation of CO in and about the boat and require the operator's particular attention.
• Operation at slow speeds or dead in water.
• Utilization of canvas tops, side curtains or back curtains.
• Any blockage of hull exhaust outlets.
• Contributing climatic conditions, such as headwind.
• Operation with a high bow angle attitude.
• Operation of engines and/or generator in confined spaces or at dockside.
SYMPTOMS OF EXCESSIVE EXPOSURE TO CO CONCENTRATIONS MAY INCLUDE NAUSEA, DIZZINESS, HEADACHE AND DROWSINESS.
DANGER
AVOID COLLISIONS - Maintain lookout as required by "Rules of the Road". Visibility can be limited by high boat trim angles, persons and gear. Such issues are considered under the control of the operator.

NOTICE: It is recommended that all occupants wear approved Personal Flotation Devices (PFD's).

CO sickness symptoms include headache, nausea and dizziness. Do not mistake these symptoms for sea sickness.
Ventilate boat. See Section 1.4, Carbon Monoxide, for more details.
Do not use the rear (aft) curtain while engine is running or boat is moving.

15. Electrical Schematics

This owner's manual contains electrical schematics and wiring harness illustrations for your boat. These electrical schematics were generated by electrical CAD designers at the engineering division for technical reference and service technicians. Sea Ray® does not recommend that you attempt to work on the boat's electrical system yourself. Instead, we recommend that you take your boat to your authorized Sea Ray® dealer for service. Sea Ray® reserves the right to change or update the electrical system on any model at any time without notice to the consumer and is NOT obligated to make any updates to units built prior to changes.
