IKEA Promotional Campaign: Offer on Children's Beds, Bedding, Toys, and Lighting
Section 1. Organizer
The organizer of the promotional campaign is IKEA România S.A., with its registered office in Bucharest, Șos. București Ploiești Nr. 42A, Sector 1, Bucharest, Romania, registered under number J2005008161401, Fiscal Code 17547941, tax attribute RO, with a bank account RO64 BRDE 445SV75945994450 opened at BRD – Suc. Dorobanți (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer" or "IKEA").
The promotional campaign "Offer on a selection of children's beds, bedding, toys, and lighting" is carried out by IKEA Romania S.A. ("Campaign") in accordance with the provisions of this regulation ("Regulation"), which is binding for all participants. Any person participating in this promotional campaign agrees to the provisions of this Regulation; any non-compliance will result in the forfeiture of the discounts offered by the Organizer.
Section 2. Campaign Location
The campaign takes place online on the website www.IKEA.ro and in the physical IKEA stores ("IKEA Stores"), located at:
- Bucharest, Sector 1, Șos. București Ploiești nr. 42A ("IKEA Băneasa Store")
- Bucharest, Sector 3, Blvd. Theodor Pallady nr. 57 ("IKEA Pallady Store")
- Dumbrăvița Village, Dumbrăvița Commune, Bulevardul Petre Țuțea, Nr. 2A, Timiș County (,,IKEA Timișoara Store")
- Constanța Municipality, Strada Cumpenei, Nr. 2, Constanța County.
- Calea Plevnei nr 159, Sector 6 Bucharest.
Section 3. Campaign Duration
The campaign takes place on June 13, 2025, as follows:
- From 10:00 AM to 11:59 PM on the IKEA.ro website
- In IKEA Stores during each store's operating hours, as follows:
- From 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM - IKEA Băneasa Store
- From 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM - IKEA Pallady Store
- From 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM - IKEA Timișoara Store
- From 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM - the point of sale located in Constanța Municipality, Strada Cumpenei, Nr. 2, Constanța County.
- From 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM - the point of sale located in Bucharest Municipality, Calea Plevnei nr 159, Sector 6
hereinafter referred to as the "Campaign Period".
Section 4. Campaign Participants
Any natural person over 18 years of age, regardless of their domicile, and any legal person, regardless of their registered office, may participate in this Campaign for the purchase of furniture and accessories from the IKEA Stores specified in the Regulation (hereinafter referred to as "Participant").
Participation in the Campaign is conditional upon membership in the IKEA Family loyalty club or the IKEA Business Network loyalty club.
Registration as an IKEA Family or IKEA Business Network member can be done at one of the IKEA Băneasa Store, IKEA Pallady Store, IKEA Timișoara Store, or online at www.IKEA.ro.
Persons who have not reached the age of 18 by the start date of the Campaign, respectively June 13, 2025, are not eligible to participate in this Campaign.
Section 5. Campaign Discounts
The promotional campaign consists of granting discounts on the prices of the products mentioned below in Section 5 of the Regulation, during the Campaign Period. The discount will be visible both in IKEA Stores and on the IKEA.ro website.

Section 6. Campaign Mechanism and Discount Awarding
1. Discount Award Conditions:
To participate in the Campaign, the Participant must purchase one or more products that are the subject of the Campaign, during the Campaign Period, from IKEA Stores or on the IKEA.ro website.
2. Discount Awarding:
Discounts are awarded as follows:
- For purchases in IKEA Stores, the discount is applied directly at the checkout, after scanning the products.
- For online purchases - the discount is applied after adding the products to the shopping cart, following these steps: "Proceed to checkout", select the delivery method (delivery or click & collect), complete the Participant's information, and proceed to the final step – Payment.
The fiscal receipt or invoice will directly show the reduced price of the products included in the Campaign.
Section 7. Discount Alternatives
Participants who benefit from the Discount cannot receive the equivalent value of the products included in the Campaign in cash, nor can they request modifications to the discount awarding parameters.
Section 8. Product Returns
Any return of products purchased under this Regulation is permitted in compliance with the IKEA Product Return Policy available in the brochures at IKEA Stores and on the website at: IKEA.ro/retur
Section 9. Campaign Regulations
By participating in the Campaign, Participants agree to comply with and respect the provisions of this Regulation.
The Campaign Regulation is available free of charge to any applicant at the number 021–407.45.32, at normal tariff rates, Monday-Friday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (excluding public holidays) during the Campaign Period, or can be viewed on www.IKEA.ro.
For inquiries regarding the Campaign, Participants can call the phone number 021-407.45.32, where they will receive all information related to the Campaign.
In case of any fraud, misunderstanding, or dispute that may arise at any time regarding the conduct of this campaign, the Organizer reserves the right to take all legal measures deemed appropriate.
Section 10. Campaign Termination and Regulation Modification
The Organizer reserves the right to modify and/or supplement the Regulation, as well as the right to suspend and/or terminate/interrupt/extend the Campaign, provided that Participants are notified in advance of any modification to any of its provisions. Any modifications/additions to the provisions of this Regulation will be included in additional acts to the Regulation, which will be communicated to the public on the website www.IKEA.ro before they come into effect.
This Campaign may terminate before the term mentioned in the Campaign Duration section in the event of a force majeure event, including the impossibility of the Organizer, due to reasons beyond its control, to continue this Campaign. For the purpose of this Regulation, force majeure means any event that cannot be controlled, remedied, or foreseen by the Organizer, including the impossibility of the Organizer due to reasons beyond its control, the occurrence of which makes it impossible for the latter to fulfill its assumed obligations under the Regulation.
If a force majeure situation prevents or delays the total or partial execution of the Regulation and the continuation of the Campaign, the Organizer will be exempt from liability for the fulfillment of its obligations for the period during which such fulfillment is prevented or delayed, according to the Civil Code. The Organizer, if invoking force majeure, is obliged to notify the Campaign Participants of its existence within 5 working days from the occurrence of the force majeure event.
Section 11. Disputes and Applicable Law
Any disputes arising between the Organizer and the Participants in this Campaign will be resolved amicably or, if this is not possible, disputes will be settled by the competent Romanian courts in Bucharest.
The applicable law is Romanian law.
Section 12. Taxes and Duties
The provisions of the current legislation regarding the offered discounts apply.
Section 13. Personal Data Protection
Personal data of the participants in the contest will be processed in accordance with the provisions of Regulation no. 679/2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR). For the purpose of carrying out the Campaign, personal data will be processed by IKEA România S.A., with its registered office at Șos. București Ploiești Nr. 42A, Office Space, 1st floor, Sector 1, Bucharest, Romania, as the "Operator".
Within the Campaign, the Operator will collect the following categories of personal data from participants: IKEA Family code.
Personal data of the participants in the Campaign will be processed by the Operator, as organizer, directly and exclusively for the organization and conduct of the campaign.
Personal data will be processed for the following purposes and in accordance with the legal bases described below and the legitimate interest (pursuant to art. 6 para. 1 letter f of GDPR) of the Organizer:
- Organization and conduct of the Campaign; designation and validation of winners; awarding of prizes; resolution of any complaints related to the organization and conduct of the Campaign (the Organizer's legitimate interest).
Personal data collected within the Campaign by the Operator will be processed only by the Operator and will be disclosed to the competent local authorities, in order to ensure the Operator's compliance with the obligations imposed by current legislation.
Personal data of the winning Participants will be stored by the Operator, in accordance with legal provisions in financial-accounting matters, respectively for 10 (ten) years from the end of the financial year in which the payment of taxes for the awarded prizes took place.
Upon expiration of the personal data storage period, the Operator will erase/destroy this data from the processing and storage media.
In order to ensure fair and transparent processing, the Operator assures Participants, during the Campaign, the following rights:
- Right to request access to personal data;
- Right to request rectification of personal data;
- Right to request erasure of personal data;
- Right to restrict processing;
- Right to object to processing, except where legal provisions provide otherwise;
- Right to data portability;
- Right to lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (A.N.S.P.D.C.P.).
Participants can exercise their rights mentioned above by using the Personal Data Administration Form, available on the website www.ikea.com/ro in the Privacy Policy section or by email at protectia.datelor.ro@ingka.ikea.com.
Since only natural persons aged 18 or over at the start of the Campaign can participate, data belonging to persons under 18 years of age will not be processed or stored.
If the Operator receives personal data belonging to persons under 18 years of age, this data will be immediately erased/destroyed from the Operator's processing and storage media.
The Operator undertakes to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure an adequate level of security for the personal data belonging to the participants in the Campaign.
The Operator has the right to modify these personal data clauses at any time during the Campaign. Any such modification will be communicated to the participants through the same means by which the Campaign Regulation was communicated.
To the extent that, within the Campaign, Participants disclose personal data belonging to other persons, participants declare and confirm that they have informed these persons about the use of this data within the present Campaign and that they have obtained their consent for the use of the data.
This clause only concerns the collection and processing of data in connection with the conduct of the Campaign, according to this Regulation.
Section 14. Other Clauses
The Organizer's decisions regarding the Campaign are final and binding on all Participants.
Products that are the subject of the Campaign and have not been sold during the Campaign Period will remain in the possession of the Organizer, who may dispose of them freely in any manner deemed necessary or appropriate for its interests.
If any provision of this Regulation is declared null and void, the remaining provisions shall remain valid to the extent that they can produce legal effects even in the absence of the declared null conditions. To the extent possible, the annulled conditions will be replaced by another reasonable, legally valid regulation that corresponds as closely as possible to the purpose of the invalidated provisions.
