5 Cleaning and Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning and Maintenance
[!] WARNING: Never use gasoline, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, metal objects, or hard brushes to clean the appliance.
[!] WARNING: Never immerse the appliance or its power cord in water or any other liquid.
- Turn off the oven and unplug the power plug from the wall socket before cleaning.
- Wait until the appliance has cooled down completely.
- Keep the inside of the oven clean. When food splashes or spilled liquids deposit on the oven walls, wipe them with a damp cloth. Use a mild detergent if the oven is very dirty. Avoid using aerosols and other abrasive cleaners, as they can stain, scratch, or dull the door surface.
- Clean the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. To avoid damaging the functional parts inside the oven, do not let water seep through the ventilation openings.
- Regularly wipe both sides of the door and the window, the door seals, and adjacent parts with a damp cloth to clean any spills or splashes. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Do not use a steam cleaner.
- Do not let the control panel get wet. Clean with a soft, damp cloth. When cleaning the control panel, leave the oven door open to prevent the oven from accidentally turning on.
- If steam accumulates inside or around the oven door, wipe it with a soft cloth. This occurs when the microwave oven operates in conditions of extreme humidity. This phenomenon is normal.
- It is sometimes necessary to remove the glass tray for cleaning. Wash the tray in lukewarm soapy water or in the dishwasher.
- Regularly clean the ring and the bottom of the oven cavity to prevent excessive noise. Simply wipe the bottom surface of the oven with a mild detergent. You can wash the ring in lukewarm soapy water or in the dishwasher. When removing the ring from the cavity for cleaning, be sure to replace it in the correct position.
- To eliminate odors from your oven, mix a cup of water with the juice and zest of one lemon in a deep microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave for 5 minutes. Clean thoroughly and then dry the cavity with a soft cloth.
- When the oven lamp needs to be replaced, please consult a vendor to have it replaced.
- The oven must be cleaned regularly and all food deposits removed. Failure to keep the oven clean can lead to deterioration of its surface, which in turn could affect the appliance's lifespan and potentially create dangerous situations.
- Do not dispose of this appliance with household waste; it must be disposed of at the collection center provided for this purpose by the municipal authorities.
- When using the microwave oven with the grill function for the first time, it may produce slight smoke and odors. This phenomenon is normal, as the oven has a steel plate coated with lubricating oil, and when new, it produces smoke and odors generated by the combustion of lubricating oil. This phenomenon disappears after a period of use.

- Also ensure that the appliance is unplugged, completely cooled, and completely dry.
