Quick Start Guide
Connecting to the Hoover App
To enhance your experience with the Hoover H-WASH & DRY 500 washer dryer, you can connect it to the Hoover mobile application. This allows for remote control, access to additional programs, and notifications.
Download the Hoover app from your device's app store (available on the App Store and Google Play). Once installed, follow the on-screen instructions to register your appliance. You will need your home Wi-Fi credentials. Note that only the 2.4 GHz frequency band is supported for connection.

Installation Essentials
Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your washer dryer. Please refer to the following guidelines:
Water Inlet
Connect the water inlet hose securely to a cold water tap. Ensure the hose is not kinked. The appliance should have an overflow vent, and the hose should be positioned at a minimum height of 4 cm from the ground.
Drainage
Connect the drain hose to a suitable drain pipe or sink trap. The drain hose should be positioned at a height between 65 cm and 100 cm from the ground to ensure proper drainage. Avoid kinking the hose.
Electrical Connection
Ensure the appliance is plugged into a properly earthed electrical socket. The voltage and frequency should match the specifications on the appliance's rating plate.
Placement
Position the washer dryer on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the appliance for ventilation and access.
Key Programs and Controls
The control panel features a program selector dial, display, and various buttons for options and start/pause. The detergent drawer typically has compartments for:
