1 Precautions
- Use only demagnetized tools specifically designed for small electronic repairs, as most electronic parts are sensitive to electromagnetic forces.
- Use only high-quality screwdrivers when repairing products. Poor-quality screwdrivers can easily damage screw heads.
- Always use genuine spare parts. Third-party parts may not function properly or may cause damage.
- Certain parts require calibration after repair for proper function. Contact a TCL authorized Repair Center for calibration of sensors (proximity, fingerprint), dual camera, touch screen panel, speaker, motherboard, and more.
- The IPXX degree of protection cannot be guaranteed if the repair is performed by the user or an unqualified person.
- If the device has suffered water/liquid damage, repair is an option, but the cost may exceed the device's value depending on the damage level.
- For detailed diagnosis, please contact a TCL authorized Repair Center.
- Do not remove, damage, heat, short circuit, or disassemble the battery. For battery, camera, screen, or motherboard replacement, visit a TCL authorized Repair Center.
- Before any repair, back up personal information and important data.
- Many semiconductor parts are sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Work in an Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA) to prevent unrecoverable damage.
- Ensure the device is turned off before repairing.
- Perform repairs in a safe/explosion-proof environment. If the device is damaged, emits smoke, or smells of burning, stop immediately, use a fire extinguisher or fire-proof box, and contact TCL.
- When removing the back cover, be careful not to damage the product, especially the battery. Recommended safety equipment includes glasses, gloves, and masks.
- Before assembly, ensure no screws or foreign objects are near the battery.
- Before assembly, check for any abnormalities before reattaching the back cover.

7 Troubleshooting
7.1 What should I do if my device reboots by itself?
- If occasional, it might be a file anomaly; continue normal use.
- Check if it happens during charging; try the official charger and data cable.
- If using a third-party app, ensure compatibility with your device and Android version; try uninstalling it.
- If using a built-in app, try resetting or updating the device.
7.2 What should I do if my device system lags or freezes?
- Restart the device.
- Charge the device to at least 20% battery.
- Close background apps and clear system cache via the Menu key -> "Clear all" to close tasks.
- Uninstall unused apps periodically to free up storage.
- For third-party app issues, uninstall the problematic apps.
- If lagging during media consumption or gaming, check network connection. Enable Airplane mode for a few minutes, then disable it, or move to an area with better signal.
- Try resetting or updating the device.
7.3 What should I do if my device cannot charge or charges slowly?
- Inspect the USB cable, charger, and device charging port for damage. If damaged, back up data and contact a repair center with proof of purchase.
- Charge the device with a TCL official charger for at least 30 minutes.
- Uninstall any third-party power management apps.
- Avoid prolonged use while charging.
- Try resetting or updating the device.
7.4 What should I do if my device's battery drains under normal use?
- Avoid use in extreme high or low temperatures.
- Deactivate Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or GPS when not in use.
- Note that battery drain is normal during intensive tasks like gaming or video streaming.
- Close background apps and clear system cache via the Menu key -> "Clear all".
- Try resetting or updating the device.
7.5 What should I do if my device auto powers off?
- Charge the device with a TCL official charger for at least 30 minutes, then try to power it on.
- If the issue occurs with a third-party app, ensure compatibility and try uninstalling it.
- Try resetting or updating the device.
7.6 What can I do if my device heats up?
Heat sensation is normal due to CPU activity handling data. It is not harmful. To reduce temperature:
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
- Close power-intensive applications (music, chat, GPS, gaming, video streaming).
- Reduce screen brightness.
- Avoid using the device while charging.
- Remove the protective case if it hinders heat dissipation.
7.7 What should I do if my device cannot power on?
- Charge the device with a TCL official charger for at least 30 minutes, then try to power on.
- Press and hold the power key for 10-15 seconds for a forced reboot.
