Screen Icons Reference - Status Bar
The status bar displays various indicators:
- Battery charging: Indicates charging status.
- Battery not charging: Shows remaining time or charge level (yellow indicates low charge).

- Current voltage, 22 kHz signal, and LNB power level.
- USB flash drive inserted.
- WIFI signal source.
- Current installation / Compressed installation.
- SatCR (SCD/EN50494) commands enabled.

RF Settings
The device allows configuration of RF parameters.
RF & Screens
Displays RF signal information and related screens.
Measurement
The measurement function allows for detailed signal analysis, including full measurements, measurements with TV and Spectrum, and measurements with parameters.
Workflow Example:
- Initiate measurement.
- View signal power, band, MER, CBER, VBER.
- Transition to spectrum view.
- Add TV display.
- View detailed DVB parameters like Bandwidth, Symbol Rate, Modulation, Roll-Off Factor.
Spectrum Analyser
Provides a visual representation of signal spectrum, allowing for analysis with measurements and TV display.
Workflow Example:
- Initiate spectrum analysis.
- View spectrum with signal power levels.
- Add measurement data to the spectrum view.
- Add TV display to the spectrum view for comprehensive analysis.
TV Mode
Enables viewing TV channels and associated data.
Workflow Example:
- Select Full TV mode.
- Transition to TV + Spectrum + Measurement view.
- Access TV + Service Data for detailed information including Network, Provider, Service, Video, and Audio parameters.

IPTV Settings

IPTV Screens
Displays IP parameters, multicast reception details, and service information for IPTV streams.
IP Measurements:
- IP Parameters: Ethernet Speed, Multicast Address, Source Address, FEC Status, Codec/HW/SW.
- Multicast Reception: Received Packets, FEC Fixed Packets, FEC Status, Codec/HW/SW.

Analyzes the timing between data packets for IPTV streams.

OTT Streaming Settings
Configure OTT signal source for streaming analysis.
OTT Streaming Screens
Displays OTT stream information, including URL, representation, and test messages.
- OTT 1/2: Shows URL, Representation, and Test Messages (e.g., Segment list is valid, URL content is MPD).
- OTT Segments bitrate: Visualizes segment bitrate over time.
OTT Streaming Menu
Access to URL, View options (Presentation description, Presentation parameters), Page Up, and Page Down functions.
webControl Network Setting
Configure network settings for webControl access, including MAC, DHCP, IP Address, Mask, and Gateway.
Network Diagram: A laptop connects to a router, which then connects to the RANGER Neo device. Access is via the equipment's IP address in a web browser.
* Set the time before monitoring.
Time & Date: Can be set manually or via NTP.

Installation Management
Manage installations, including loading, managing, creating new ones, and accessing tools.

Allows exporting screen captures, data, or spectrum references.
- Export (press >1s): Captures the current screen or spectrum.
- Reference (press <1s): Sets the current view as a reference.
The device can export data to a computer for further analysis.
Joystick
The joystick can be configured for various functions:
- AP (Access Point change)
- FR (Frequency tuning)
- CH (Channel tuning)
- SP (SPAN Change)
- MK (Marker moving / Marker ON)
Configuration options include RefLevel+, CH+, CH-, Span+, RefLevel-.
Parameter Edition
Allows editing of tuning parameters such as Channel, Channel Plan, Tune By, and Center Frequency.

Reset
If the device crashes, press the ON/OFF button for 10 seconds. If it does not respond, press the F4 key for 6 seconds and release to reset. Refer to the user's manual for more information.
