Rocktile Sphere Junior Components Description: Jack socket: Use this socket to connect your electric guitar to an amplifier via a 6.3 mm jack cable. Tone control: You can use these controls to change the tone of your guitar (brighter or duller). 3-way switch: With this switch, you can switch between the individual pickups or connect them together and thus additionally influence the tone. The bridge pickup, for example, reduces the highs, while the neck pickup emphasizes the lows (basses). Volume control: You can use this control to adjust the overall volume. Pickup: Essential for picking up the string vibrations and reproducing the electrical signal via a guitar amplifier. Fingerboard: Flat or curved surface that runs under the strings and on which the strings are pressed when playing. Neck: Elongated component on which the fingerboard is mounted and which connects the body (body of the guitar) with the headstock. Fret bar: Is an elevation on the fingerboard that runs across the strings and usually across the entire width of the fingerboard. Frets are usually positioned so that they correspond to semitones in the tuning. Headstock: Is the upper part of the guitar to which the tuning machines are attached. Tuning mechanism: Used to tune the individual strings. When turned in different directions, the individual strings are tuned either higher or lower. Nut: Is a narrow piece of material that is mounted at the transition between the headstock and the neck joint. Due to the notches incorporated, it serves to guide the strings securely on the fingerboard and prevents the strings from slipping out of position. The nut also influences the string action (height of the strings in relation to the fingerboard). Strap button: You can attach your strap here so that you can play the guitar standing up. Bridge: The bridge limits the freely vibrating string length (scale length) at one end, the nut at the other. This is where the strings are passed through before they can be clamped to the tuning mechanism on the headstock. Tremolo: To use, carefully turn the tremolo lever supplied into the bridge. Carefully push or pull the lever to relax or stretch the strings. This lowers or raises the pitch.
