Power
- Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or adapters beyond their voltage and capacity, as this may cause fire or electric shock. Refer to the power specifications section of the manual or the power supply label on the product for voltage and amperage information.
- Power-supply cords should be placed so they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them. Pay particular attention to cords at the plug end, wall outlets, and where they exit the appliance.
- Never insert anything metallic into the open parts of this apparatus; this may cause electric shock.
- To avoid electric shock, never touch the inside of this apparatus. Only a qualified technician should open this apparatus.
- Be sure to plug in the power cord until it is firmly seated. When unplugging, always pull on the power cord's plug, never by pulling on the cord itself. Do not touch the power cord with wet hands.
- If this apparatus does not operate normally, especially if there are unusual sounds or smells, unplug it immediately and contact an authorized dealer or Samsung service center.
- To protect this apparatus from a lightning storm, or to leave it unattended for a long time, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system. Accumulated dust can cause electric shock, leakage, or fire by generating sparks and heat from the power cord due to deteriorated insulation.
- Use only a properly grounded plug and wall outlet. An improper ground may cause electric shock or equipment damage (Class I Equipment only).
- To turn off this apparatus completely, disconnect it from the wall outlet. Ensure the wall outlet and power plug are readily accessible for quick unplugging if necessary.
Installation
- Do not place this apparatus near or over a radiator or heat register, or where it is exposed to direct sunlight.
- Do not place any objects containing water (vases, etc.) on this apparatus, as this can result in a fire or electric shock.
- Do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.
- Contact an authorized Samsung service center for information if you intend to install your projector in a location with heavy dust, high or low temperatures, high humidity, chemical substances, or where it will operate 24 hours a day (e.g., airports, train stations). Failure to do so may lead to serious damage.
- Do not expose this apparatus to dripping or splashing.
Mounting the Projector on a Wall
For wall installation, consult a professional service agency. Improper mounting can cause personal injury or product damage.
- When installing a wall mount kit, it is recommended to fasten all four screws. Do not install the kit while the projector is turned on, as this may result in personal injury from electric shock.
- Do not use screws that are longer than the standard dimension or do not comply with standard specifications, as they may cause damage to the inside of the projector.
- For wall mounts not complying with standard screw specifications, screw length may differ.
- Do not fasten screws too firmly; this may damage the product or cause it to fall, leading to personal injury. Samsung is not liable for such accidents.
- Samsung is not liable for product damage or personal injury when a non-specified wall mount is used or when installation instructions are not followed.
- Always have two people mount the projector onto a wall.
Providing Proper Ventilation for Your Projector
When installing your projector, maintain a distance of at least 4 inches (10 cm) between the projector and other objects (walls, cabinet sides, etc.) to ensure proper ventilation. Failure to maintain proper ventilation may result in a fire or product issues caused by increased internal temperature.
- When operating the projector in an enclosed space, allow at least 19 inches (50 cm) clearance around the intake and exhaust vents.
Operation
- This apparatus uses batteries. Your community may have environmental regulations requiring proper battery disposal. Please contact your local authorities for disposal or recycling information.

- Do not drop or strike the product. If damaged, disconnect the power cord and contact a Samsung service center.
- Do not dispose of the remote control or batteries in fire.
- Do not short-circuit, disassemble, or overheat the batteries. Battery handling warnings include potential explosion from fire, hot ovens, mechanical crushing/cutting, extreme temperatures, or low pressure.
- CAUTION: There is a danger of explosion if you replace the batteries used in the remote with the wrong type. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
- WARNING: Do not use liquid fumigators containing chemicals (e.g., mosquito repellent, air freshener) around the product. Steam contact with the product surface or entry into the product may cause stains or malfunction.
- WARNING: TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF FIRE, KEEP CANDLES AND OTHER ITEMS WITH OPEN FLAMES AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT AT ALL TIMES.
- When turning off the projector completely, wait until the fan stops to allow the projector to cool down.
- Use care when touching the projector after it has been on for some time, as some parts can be warm.

- Do not look directly at the light from the projector lens or project the light into any person's eyes.
- Warning: Close exposure of less than 1 meter can cause eye damage.
- As with any bright source, do not stare into the direct beam (RG2 IEC 62471-5:2015).
- The product complies with laser safety standards including IEC 60825-1:2014, EN 60825-1:2014+A11:2021, EN 50689:2021 CLASS 1 CONSUMER LASER PRODUCT - RISK GROUP 2, and 21 CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11.

Internet Security
Samsung takes steps to protect its internet-compatible projector against unauthorized incursions and hacking through encryption and controls against unauthorized applications. However, no internet-connected device or transmission is completely secure.
Samsung encourages users to take additional steps to safeguard their projector, secure their internet connection, and minimize the risk of unauthorized access. These steps include:
- Install software updates promptly. Enable Auto Update in the projector's menu (Settings > Support > Software Update > Auto Update).
- Secure your wireless access point and network: use a unique password for management settings, implement standard encryption (e.g., WPA2), and use a hard-to-guess password for network access.
- Confirm your access point's firewall setting is enabled (if applicable) and ensure all internet-connected devices are behind your network's firewall.
- If your access point or modem has a standby mode button, use it to disconnect your home network from the internet when not in use.
- Use strong passwords for all your internet accounts (e.g., Netflix, Facebook).
- Do not accept unexpected messages on your projector screen requesting permission to link a device or enable a remote session.
- Do not visit suspicious websites and do not install suspicious programs. Samsung recommends installing only authorized apps provided through Samsung Smart Hub.
