Safety Instructions

This appliance is intended for domestic use only. Read all instructions before use. Keep packaging materials away from children. Ensure the power cord is not damaged; if it is, it must be replaced by an authorized Haier service technician. Use only Haier-recommended accessories. Beware of hot surfaces and steam; never touch the interior while in operation or immediately after. The heating element remains hot after use. Always use the handle to remove the basket. Press the basket release button only when the basket is on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Do not block ventilation openings; hot steam is released through them. Keep hands and face away from the steam jet. Be cautious of hot steam and air when removing the basket. Do not use with external timers or remote control systems. Prevent liquids from entering the appliance to avoid electric shock. Do not pull or carry the appliance by the power cord. Always unplug by pulling the plug, not the cord. Keep the cord away from sharp edges or hot surfaces. Do not use extension cords. Do not operate with wet hands. Never immerse the appliance, cord, plug, or main unit in water or other liquids. Beware of fire risk: do not use near or under combustible materials like curtains. Keep the appliance away from walls and other devices, maintaining at least 10cm clearance behind and on the sides. Do not place anything on top of the appliance during operation. Incorrect use can cause injury. Clean surfaces that come into contact with food carefully. Use the appliance only as described in this manual. The basket, drawer, and accessories become hot during use; handle with care. Do not overfill the basket beyond the maximum level line. Prevent food from contacting the heating elements. Avoid cooking excessive amounts of food or very large items, or using paper, cardboard, plastic packaging, or foil, as these can cause fire hazards. Use recommended cooking times; excessive cooking can burn food. Connect only to a grounded wall socket and ensure the plug is inserted correctly. Use only on a stable work surface, not near the edge. Do not use on inclined surfaces or move while operating. Do not operate without the basket inserted. Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use. Exercise extreme caution if the appliance contains hot oil or other hot liquids. Allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning or maintenance. Clean the basket regularly to prevent smoke or burning from residue. Unplug after use and before cleaning or maintenance. Do not continue to use the appliance if damaged.
