Important Safety Warnings

⚠️ WARNING: THIS PRODUCT CANNOT SUBSTITUTE PARENTAL SUPERVISION ON YOUR CHILD.

Store this product out of the reach of babies (at least 3 feet / 0.9 m away from the crib). A strap wound around a baby's neck may result in asphyxiation. Use the safety clip to clamp the power cord and keep it out of the baby's reach. Do not use other extension cords. Only use the provided power adapter. Do not touch exposed parts if the adapter is connected to power.

Test regularly before initial use or when changing the camera's position.

Avoid placing the product in humid places or contacting it with liquids (such as bathtubs, sinks, etc.).

Do not apply heat to the product (such as stoves, radiators, etc.).

Use the product in a ventilated place. Avoid placing it on sofas, cushions, beds, or other places that may block ventilation.

The product is for adult operation only. Do not allow babies to play with it. Tiny accessories are contained; please be careful when unpacking and installing.

BATTERY WARNING

  • Only use the recommended rechargeable battery. Contact Koehog for replacements.
  • Clean the battery compartment before use.
  • Avoid short-circuiting the power supply terminals.
  • Remove the battery when not in use or when the power is out.
  • Keep batteries away from children.
  • Dispose of empty batteries properly.

Setup & Use

Initial Charging

Please charge the battery for at least 8 hours before using the product for the first time.

Initial Installation Test

  1. Test Reception: Place the camera in a suitable location for the best view of your baby's crib. Do not permanently mount the camera until the initial test is complete. Plug the adapter into a wall outlet and turn on the camera.
  2. Turn on Monitor: Press and hold the [Power / Menu Button] for 5 seconds until the 'axvue' logo appears, then video should display on the screen. If video does not appear, refer to the 'TO PAIR MONITOR AND CAMERA' section. If video appears, the initial test is complete.

Set Up Camera

Place the camera on a flat surface, such as a shelf or wardrobe (Figure 1), or mount it on the wall (Figure 2). Ensure the camera is at least 3 feet away from the crib and all power cords are managed safely behind the camera. Adjust the camera lens angle to get the best view of your baby.

TO USE PLUGGED-IN MODE

  1. Place the monitor display in your desired location. Connect the camera to an electrical outlet using the adapter.
  2. Turn on the monitor by pressing and holding the [POWER/MENU Button] for 5 seconds until the 'axvue' logo or video appears.
  3. Press the [VIDEO ON/OFF Button] to turn off the video if you only wish to hear the audio.
  4. Turn off the monitor completely by pressing and holding the [POWER/MENU Button] for 5 seconds.

TO USE PORTABLE / BATTERY MODE

  • Charge the battery for 6-8 hours before using the product. For portable/battery mode, ensure the battery is charged for at least 8 hours.
  • Ensure the adapter is plugged into the camera.
  • The battery life can be up to 10 hours when fully charged. Battery life may be shortened if continuously recharging. Unplug the power adapter when not using the product for an extended period.

TO PAIR MONITOR AND CAMERA (ADD CAMERA)

The monitor and camera are paired before shipment. If they become unpaired, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the camera and monitor are in the same location.
  2. Camera Pairing: Make sure the power adapter is plugged into the camera. Turn on the camera by pressing the [Power On/Off Switch / CODE Button] for 5 seconds. The red LED on the camera will flash.
  3. Monitor Pairing: Turn on the monitor by pressing and holding the [O/VIDEO Button] for 5 seconds. The monitor should detect the camera.

Note: If the monitor displays 'No Signal', refer to the pairing instructions again.

The SCAN, SELECT, ADD, DELETE, VIEW CAMERA options are available when multiple cameras are connected. Purchase extra cameras at www.koehog.com or by searching 'Koehog Baby monitor' on Amazon.

TO SELECT A CAMERA

Use the monitor's navigation buttons ([Left Arrow], [Right Arrow], [OK Button], [Menu Button]) to select a specific camera feed from multiple connected cameras.

TO SCAN ALL CAMERAS (AUTO-SCAN)

Initiate an automatic scan through all connected cameras by pressing the auto-scan button. Press the auto-scan button again to stop scanning.

TO DELETE A CAMERA

Navigate to the camera management menu and select the camera to delete. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Favorite Features

DIGITAL ZOOM IN & OUT

Press and hold the [Talk Back / Zoom Button] on the monitor to zoom in or out on the video feed, allowing a closer look at your baby.

TWO-WAY COMMUNICATION

Press and hold the [TALK BACK Button] on the monitor to activate two-way communication. Speak into the monitor's microphone, and your voice will be transmitted to the camera's speaker.

VOLUME CONTROL

Use the [Volume Up Button] and [Volume Down Button] on the monitor to adjust the audio volume of the baby monitor.

BRIGHTNESS ADJUSTMENT

Use the navigation buttons to access the brightness settings and adjust the screen brightness as needed.

TEMPERATURE DISPLAY

The monitor displays the ambient temperature detected by the camera's temperature sensor.

  • Read this instruction carefully before using the product. Store it safely for future reference.
  • Ensure you read the "Warning" section of the product package and this instruction carefully.
  • Use the product properly by following this instruction.
  • Wipe the product with a damp towel after removing it from the wall.
  • Avoid possible dangers by following manufacturer's instructions.
  • Do not use the product in humid places or in contact with liquids, such as bathtubs, sinks, laundry tubs, damp basements, or swimming pools.
  • Ensure the product is installed on a flat surface; otherwise, it may cause serious personal injury or product damage if dropped.
  • Only follow this instruction and use installation tools provided by the manufacturer.
  • Ventilation slots and holes are for ventilation; ensure they are not covered or blocked.
  • Do not place the product on beds, sofas, rugs, or similar places that block ventilation. Do not place in a closed bookcase or shelf unless it has specific ventilation.
  • Connect to a suitable power supply. Contact your dealer or local power company if unsure about your home's power supply system. Refer to operating instructions for portable/battery mode or other power sources.
  • Power supply cords should be routed to prevent them from being walked on or pinched, paying attention to plugs, receptacles, and exit points.
  • Outdoor antenna systems should not be near overhead power lines or other electrical circuits to avoid signal interference. Exercise extreme caution to avoid touching power lines during installation to prevent electrical shock.
  • Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or receptacles, as this can cause fire or electrical shock.
  • Do not insert small objects into the product's interior, as they may touch dangerous voltage points or cause short circuits, leading to fire or electrical shock. Avoid liquid spillage onto the product.
  • Do not attempt to service the product yourself by opening or removing covers, as this may expose you to dangerous voltages or other hazards. Contact qualified service personnel for maintenance.
  • Unplug the product and contact qualified service personnel if: the power-supply cord or plug is damaged; liquid has spilled or objects have fallen into the product; the product has been exposed to rain or water; the product does not operate normally according to instructions (only adjust controls covered by instructions; improper adjustment may require extensive service).
  • If the product has been dropped or damaged, or shows a distinct change in performance, it needs maintenance.
  • When replacement parts are required, ensure the service technician uses parts specified by the manufacturer or parts with identical characteristics to the original. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electrical shock, or other hazards.
  • Upon completion of any service or repairs, ask the service technician to perform safety checks to confirm proper operating condition.
  • The product should only be mounted on the wall or ceiling as recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Keep the product away from heat sources like radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other heat-producing equipment.
