Use & Operation
Control Panel
The control panel features three knobs: SWING, SPEED, and COOL. The SPEED knob has settings from 0 (OFF) to 3 (High). The SWING and COOL knobs have ON/OFF positions.
Function Buttons
SPEED / ON - OFF
Connect the unit to the power supply and turn the SPEED knob. The fan will start. Select speed from 1 (Low), 2 (Medium), or 3 (High). To turn OFF the unit, turn the SPEED knob to 0.
COOL
Ensure water is added before using Cool mode. Turn the COOL knob to ON to activate evaporative cooling. The water pump will operate, and cooler air will be felt once the Honeycomb Cooling Media is wet.
SWING
Turn the SWING knob to ON to activate automatic left-to-right louver movement. Vertical Air Flow can be manually adjusted using a lever at the front of the unit.
Cooler Location
Position the air cooler correctly. Refer to the COOLER LOCATION section of the separate Safety & Maintenance Guide.
Filling with Water
Using the Continuous Water Supply Connection is ideal for long periods without refilling and helps prevent pump failure due to low water.
CAUTION: Unplug the unit from the electrical power outlet before filling or emptying the water tank.
Continuous Water Supply Connection
For a continuous supply, connect a garden hose to a main water supply.
Procedure:
- Locate the male connector on the garden hose. Insert it into the cooler's water inlet valve. Screw and tighten the valve onto the hose connector, ensuring a secure, leak-free connection. If leaks occur, disconnect, reposition, and retighten.
- Once secured, turn ON the water supply. Water will flow into the tank.
- The cooler will automatically refill when the tank is empty or below a minimum level.
- The water inlet valve automatically stops water flow when the tank is full, preventing overflow.
- Use a minimum flow setting on the water valve; excessive pressure can damage the inlet pressure control system.
WARNING: The maximum water inlet pressure is 0.5 MPa.
Diagram shows a garden hose connected to the water inlet valve of the cooler. Another diagram shows the lower part of the cooler with labels for Water Inlet Hole, Water Fill Door, and Ice Loading Compartment.
Manual Water Tank Refill
Procedure:
- Using a portable container or garden hose, pour water into the water inlet hole at the top of the cooler.
- Check the water level indicator. Do not fill above the "Max." mark to prevent water droplets on louvers.
WARNING: Always ensure the water level is above the minimum (Min.) mark for both continuous and manual refills. Running in Cool mode with inadequate water may cause pump failure.
WARNING: Do not fill the water tank with dirty or salt water, as this can damage the unit and Honeycomb media.
Note: Water capacity refers to the total volume in the tank and distribution system. The level at the "Max." indicator may be lower than the actual capacity.
Cleaning & Draining the Water Tank
For long-term storage, refer to the STORAGE & MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES in the Safety & Maintenance Guide.
WARNING: Before cleaning, switch the unit OFF and disconnect from the electrical socket.
Procedure:
- Move the unit to a draining location. Remove the cap from the Drain plug at the bottom and allow the tank to empty.
- Refill with clean water to the maximum level and drain completely.
- Use a damp cloth to clean the unit's surface. Avoid corrosive elements or chemicals.
- When not in use, store the unit in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
Cleaning the Honeycomb Cooling Media
The appliance includes three Honeycomb Cooling Media pads, located inside the Rear and Side Grills.
Procedure: Follow Steps 1 to 5 for removal, cleaning, and maintenance.
WARNING: Do not run the unit in COOL mode with stale water. Empty and refill with fresh water, especially if the tank has not been cleaned recently.
Diagrams illustrate steps for removing the rear grill and honeycomb pad, showing screws and horizontal bars.
Removing the Honeycomb Cooling Media
- Remove screws from the Rear Grill.
- Carefully pull out the Rear Grill.
- The Honeycomb Cooling Pad is secured by two Horizontal Bars, fixed by screws on the left and right sides. Remove these screws to release the bars.
- Slide out the Honeycomb Cooling Pad from the Rear Grill. Replace with a new pad by sliding it into the grill grooves. Reattach the Horizontal Bars with screws.
- Repeat steps 1-4 for the Left and Right Side Grills.
WARNING: DO NOT operate the Air Cooler with any or all Rear/Side Grills removed, or if a grill is loose. This can cause serious injury or dangerous electrical shock.
