Appendix - F.A.Q.

Q: Can I fast charge my Notebook/Laptop with the GC313Pro?

A: Yes, you can charge your laptop or notebook using the GC313Pro. For optimal performance, use the C1 port, which delivers up to 100W. When using a USB-C charger, consider your laptop's specific power needs (voltage, current). Using an inadequate charger can lead to slow charging, reduced performance, or damage. Ensure 100W is sufficient and refer to your laptop's manual for specifications. Also, ensure the charger's output power (100W) supports all connected devices to avoid overload. Refer to the charging allocation section for details.

Q: Why I'm I shown a Slow Charge warning when plugging my Laptop to the GC313Pro?

A: This warning may appear for two reasons:

  1. Another Type-C device is connected: If a phone, tablet, or console is connected alongside your laptop, the GC313Pro switches to dual-port charging (e.g., 45W per port). If your laptop requires more than 45W, this can trigger the warning.
  2. Power requirements exceed 100W: Your laptop might need more than 100W for optimal charging. Check your laptop's specific power needs against the GC313Pro's capabilities.

Always verify your laptop's power requirements with its manual or manufacturer specifications.

Q: Why is my computer unable to recognize GC313Pro?

A: Ensure the GC313Pro is connected to the C2 port and the AC adapter is plugged in. Check Device Manager under "Sound, Video, and Game Controllers" or "Cameras" for "Elite Go GC313Pro". If not recognized, disconnect and reconnect all Type-C ports. For Assist Central Pro detection, use the provided C-to-C cable connecting C1 to your computer's Type-C port. A C-to-A cable may lack necessary functionality. If the device displays a different name, contact AVerMedia support.

Q: Why is there no display even after connecting my GC313Pro?

A: 1. Check Signal Source Compatibility: Ensure your signal source's Type-C port supports DP1.2 output or higher. Use the included C-to-C cable to connect your source to USB-C1. (e.g., iPhone 15 Pro Max, Samsung S24U are supported.)
2. HDCP Settings: If the software preview shows HDCP, refer to the instructional video to turn it off.
3. Reconnect the setup: If issues persist, disconnect and reconnect the GC313Pro and power it on again.

Q: Why is there no sound on the TV connected to the HDMI output?

A: Check if the signal source connected to the C1 port has sound output enabled. Ensure the GC313Pro is set as the audio output device on your C1 source.

Q: Why is there no sound from the headphones when connected to the USB-A port?

A: 1. Ensure the signal source is connected to the C1 port, and the audio output is set to the headphone device.
2. Headphones are only usable with devices connected to the C1 port, not for the computer connected to the C2 port.

Q: How should I set up GC313Pro on software?

A: For Windows/macOS, when using third-party software (e.g., OBS Studio), set the resolution and FPS to match the signal source for the best experience. Refer to tutorial videos for detailed instructions.

Q: How do I set up a microphone connected to the USB-A port for the GC313/GC313Pro?

A: The microphone connected to the USB-A port is functional only with the signal source connected to the C1 port. For example, if a Windows device is connected to C1, the microphone will be recognized as a Sound Input Device on that PC.
