Product Overview

This document provides instructions for operating the Mini Digital Speaker, including its various functions, troubleshooting tips, and technical specifications.

Device Diagram:

The device is a compact, rectangular mini digital speaker with a control panel on top and speaker grilles on the front. Key components are labeled:

• 1. Volume knob: Adjusts audio volume.
• 2. LED flashlight switch: Controls the built-in LED flashlight.
• 3. DC 5V charging jack: Port for charging the device.
• 4. USB port: For playing MP3 files from a USB flash drive.
• 5. Music repeat button: Cycles through repeat modes (one, all).
• 6. Audio input jack: 3.5mm jack for connecting external audio sources.
• 7. Earphone output jack: For connecting headphones.
• 8. Mode switch button: Cycles through playback modes (USB, TF, FM, AM, AUX).
• 9. TF card slot: For playing MP3 files from a TF card.
• 10. Power switch (ON/OFF): Turns the device on or off.
• 11. Display screen: Shows current mode, track information, etc.
• 12. 0-9 number buttons: Used for selecting specific MP3 tracks or radio channels.
• 13. Previous MP3/channel, rewind button: Navigates to the previous track/channel or rewinds.
• 14. Play/Pause/scan and memory radio channels button: Controls playback and initiates auto-scanning for radio channels.
• 15. Next MP3/channel, fast-forward button: Navigates to the next track/channel or fast-forwards.

1. Operation Instruction of Each Button

1. LED: Press and hold to activate the LED flashlight.
2. REP (Repeat): Short press to repeat the current MP3 track; long press to repeat all MP3 tracks.
3. Previous/Rewind (◄): In MP3 mode, short press for the previous MP3 track; long press to rewind. In FM/AM mode, short press for the previous channel.
4. Play/Pause/Scan (▶️/II): Short press to play or pause playback. In FM/AM mode, long press for over 3 seconds to automatically scan and memory channels.
5. Next/Fast-forward (▶️): In MP3 mode, short press for the next MP3 track; long press to fast-forward. In FM/AM mode, short press for the next channel.
6. M (Mode): Switches modes among USB, TF, AUX, FM, and AM.
7. Volume (▲/▼): Press the larger side for volume up, the smaller side for volume down.
8. USB Port: Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files to play them.
9. TF Card Slot: Insert a TF card containing MP3 files to play them.
10. AUX: Connect a 3.5mm audio cable to use the device as an external speaker for audio input.
11. ON/OFF: The power switch to turn the product on or off.
12. Functions of 0-9 Number Buttons:
    • In MP3 mode: Select specific MP3 tracks by pressing the corresponding numbers (e.g., 258 for the 258th MP3).
    • In FM/AM radio mode: Select specific channels by radio frequency (e.g., press 8-7-8 for 87.8 MHz FM; press 5-8-8 for 58.8 KHz AM).

2. AM Auto-scan Radio

When using the AM radio for the first time, perform an auto-scan:

1. Turn on the product and press the [Mode] button until the "AM" icon is displayed.
2. Long press the [Play/Pause/Scan] button (▶️/II) for over 3 seconds. The display will show numbers rapidly increasing from 522 to 1710, indicating an auto-scan of AM channels. Do not operate the device during this process.
3. After scanning, the device will return to the first scanned channel. You can use the [Previous/Rewind] (◄) or [Next/Fast-forward] (▶️) buttons to switch between channels.

Note: AM (Medium Wave) reception can be affected by electromagnetic interference from power chargers, lights, or computers. For optimal scanning, move to an area with less interference.

3. FM Auto-scan Radio

When using the FM radio for the first time, perform an auto-scan:

1. Turn on the product and press the [Mode] button until the "FM" icon is displayed.
2. Long press the [Play/Pause/Scan] button (▶️/II) for over 3 seconds. The display will show numbers rapidly increasing from 87.5 to 108, indicating an auto-scan of FM channels. Do not operate the device during this process.
3. After scanning, the device will return to the first scanned channel. You can use the [Previous/Rewind] (◄) or [Next/Fast-forward] (▶️) buttons to switch between channels.

4. Battery Charging Method

Connect the larger end of the USB charging cable to a computer or USB power adapter, and plug the smaller end into the DC 5V charging jack of the speaker. The LED charging indicator will light up while charging.

5. Frequent Problems Solutions

1. USB/TF Card Not Reading:
   • A. The battery voltage may be too low; charge the device.
   • B. Ensure the music files are in MP3 format, as the device only supports MP3 playback.
2. Cannot Broadcast FM/AM Radio:
   • Long press the [Play/Pause/Scan] button (▶️/II) to initiate an auto-scan and memory of channels. The display will show channels quickly changing. Once complete, the device will play the first channel.
