Car Radio RCN210 CD Player User Manual
Overview
The RCN210 is a car radio with CD player functionality. The following diagram illustrates the various buttons and ports:

Compatibility
This unit is compatible with the following Volkswagen models: Golf MK4, Jetta, Passat B5, Polo 9.

Radio Functions
Radio On/Off and Volume Adjustment
Power On/Off: Push the left knob (⑩) to switch the radio ON/OFF. When the vehicle ignition is off, pushing the left knob may switch the radio on for 1 hour, after which it will power off automatically. It is not recommended to use the radio when the vehicle ignition is off to avoid draining the car battery.
Volume Adjustment: Rotate the left knob (⑩) to adjust the radio volume. The display will show the current volume level. Clockwise rotation increases volume; anti-clockwise rotation decreases volume.
Radio Mode
Radio Button (②): Short press to switch between band selection interfaces (FM1, FM2, FMAS, AM, AMAS). Long press in radio mode to execute automatic storage (No RDS). The unit supports FM/AM stereo with Auto Scan and Save.
Radio Frequency Range: FM 87.5 - 108 MHz (0.1 MHz/Step); AM 531 - 1629 kHz (9 kHz Step).
Media Button (⑭): Short press to switch to the media mode. Press the corresponding function key to switch to the desired mode:
- CD Function: Play music via CD.
- SD Function: Play music via SD cards (up to 8GB).
- USB Function: Play music via USB Flash Drive or connect an iPod.
- AUX Function: Play music via AUX input.
- BT: Bluetooth connect with the phone to play music or make calls.
Bluetooth Mode Function
Mode Select
When no cell phone is connected, short press the [PHONE] button (④) and the radio will display 'NO BT'.
Bluetooth Menu
- Pairing: Short press the <PAIR> button to enter BT pair mode for 5 minutes, allowing your cell phone to search and connect to the radio. If a phone is already connected, this function is disabled. If no phone connects within 5 minutes, the function will turn off automatically.
- Redial: Press <REDIAL> to redial the last number after connecting a cell phone.
- Delete: Short press the <DELETE> button to delete the connected cell phone.
Audio/Setup Menu
Short press the [MENU] button (⑱) to enter the audio setting menu. You can adjust audio parameters using the right knob:
- BASS: Bass setting, range (-9 to +9).
- MIDDLE: Middle setting, range (-9 to +9).
- TREBLE: Treble setting, range (-9 to +9).
- BALANCE: Balance setting, range (L9 to R9).
Setup Menu: Short press [SETUP] within the audio menu to enter the setup menu, which includes:
- LANGUAGE: Switch language between Chinese and English.
- RESET: Reset all radio settings.
If no action is taken for 5 seconds or if [MENU] is pressed again, the audio setting menu will exit.
Notes
- The radio supports 12cm CD-DA/CD-MP3/CD-WMA discs and standard SD/SDHC storage cards (32x24x2.1mm).
- It can play MP3/WMA files recorded on CD-R/CD-RE discs following the ISO9660 format.
- For MP3/WMA discs, the radio supports a maximum of 255 folders, 600 tracks, and a directory depth of 8.
- For SD/SDHC cards, the radio supports a maximum of 255 folders, 1500 tracks, and a directory depth of 8.
- The maximum supported capacity for SD/SDHC cards is 8GB. Compatibility may vary, and SD card reading time can be long if there are many files.
- The radio may support most Bluetooth cell phones, but compatibility with some may not be optimal.
FAQ
Fault Description | Possible Reason & Solutions |

Radio works but with no or poor sound | Adjust volume setting and balance setting. Check the antenna cable connection. |
Radio is a little hot | This is normal. |
One side speaker no sounds | Check the speaker connection and balance setting. Adjust balance to the middle if it's not centered. |
Bluetooth doesn't work or display "KEY OFF" | Check the car ignition key position (must be ON). Ensure the cell phone is paired with the radio. Check the cable connection (refer to next page cable instruction). Verify the CAN+ cable connection and ensure the car's station matches the form. Search on Google for color matches according to your car model. |
Button light doesn't light | Check cable connection (ILL). Change the ILL plug position to fit your power plug. |
Cannot turn off when the car is off | Check cable connection. Sometimes, the Red ACC plug of the cable needs to be connected to the ACC wire from the 12v socket near the cup holder. |
Steering wheel control does not work | Check cable connection. Cable A may not support older 8-button steering wheels. |
Poor receiving | Check the antenna cable connection (ensure negative pole is grounded). |
Automatic SCAN station is unable to find the desired station | Check the antenna cable connection. The required radio signal may be weak; try manual tuning. |
Screen display "NO CD" | No CD was inserted. |
Screen display "CD ERROR" | The CD is upside down, damaged, dirty, or the wrong type. |
Distorted sound during playback | CD is damaged or dirty. |
If the fault cannot be eliminated, please contact after-sales service. Do not disassemble the machine yourself.

Cable Color Coding:
- RED/ROT: ACC
- ORANGE or PINK: ILL (button lights)
- YELLOW/GELB: +12v power
- BLACK/SCHWARZ: -12v power
Cables Instruction
Cable A: Used for ISO power plugs. Note: This cable may not support the old 8-button steering wheel control.
Cable B (not included): Required if the power plug is Quadlock. This cable can help resolve issues with Bluetooth, button lights, and steering wheel control.

- Small Power Plugs: If your car has two small power plugs, use the provided cable to connect the radio.
- Large Power Plug: If your car has a large power plug (Quadlock), you may need to purchase an adapter to connect the radio. Contact us if you need this cable.
Important Notes:
- There is a silver iron ring at the top of the interface that can be removed if necessary to connect your car plug.
- If there is no sound from your speaker, please check the power cable of your speaker.
