Installation & Dimensions

This electric dryer requires a 30-amp branch circuit and is designed for up to 120 ft. of venting. Various exhaust options are available, including rear, right, left, and bottom. Minimum clearances are specified for alcove, closet, bathroom, or bedroom installations to ensure safe operation.

For optimal performance, use 4" diameter all-rigid metal exhaust ducting. If rigid metal duct cannot be used, UL-listed flexible metal (semi-rigid) ducting is an alternative. Consult the installation instructions for detailed guidance on exhaust length calculations and proper ducting materials.

The HTX26EASWWW dryer is compatible with the Hotpoint® HTW265ASWWW 4.0 cu. ft. Capacity Washer.
