Thank you for purchasing Cube Adventures Dino Discoveries! Master missions, complete challenges, and explore dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures with this exciting interactive cube.

Removing the Packaging Locks
Follow these steps to remove packaging locks:
- Rotate the packaging locks 90 degrees counter-clockwise.
- Pull out the packaging locks and discard.
Diagram Description: Shows a packaging lock mechanism. Step 1 indicates rotating the lock 90 degrees counter-clockwise. Step 2 shows pulling the lock outwards to remove it.
Getting Started: Battery Removal and Installation
- Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
- Locate the battery cover on the back of the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and open the battery cover.
- If used batteries are present, remove them from the unit by pulling up on one end of each battery.
- Install 2 new AAA (AM-4/LR03) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. For best performance, alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended.
- Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
WARNING: Adult assembly required for battery installation. Keep batteries out of reach of children.
Important: Battery Information
- Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
- Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
- Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
- Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
- Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
Rechargeable Batteries:
- Remove rechargeable batteries (if removable) from the toy before charging.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
Diagram Description: Illustrates the battery compartment on the back of the unit. It shows a screw securing the cover, which needs to be loosened with a screwdriver. Inside, there are two slots for AAA batteries, with clear polarity markings (+ and -).
Disposal of Batteries and Product
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols ?️ on products and batteries, or on their respective packaging, indicate they must not be disposed of in domestic waste as they contain substances that can be damaging to the environment and human health.
The chemical symbols Hg, Cd, or Pb, where marked, indicate that the battery contains more than the specified value of mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), or lead (Pb) set out in the Batteries and Accumulators Regulation.
The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on the market after 13th August, 2005.
Please dispose of your product and batteries responsibly. In the UK, give this toy a second life by disposing of it at a small electricals collection point* so all of its materials can be recycled.

Power Switch
To turn the cube On, slide the Power Switch to the On position. To turn the cube Off, slide the Power Switch to the Off position.
Mode Switch
Slide the Mode Switch to choose between 3 modes: Explore, Mission, or Quiz.
Buttons
Press the Dino Centre Button or Dino Scanner Button as instructed while playing games.
Automatic Shut-Off
When idle for 1 and a half minutes, the Cube Adventures Dino Discoveries will turn off automatically to conserve battery life. The cube can be turned on again by pressing any button.
Activities
Explore
Twist the cube to discover dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures. Press the buttons on the cube to learn all about them.
Mission
Ready for the Mission? Follow the clues and light to find the dinosaur and bring it next to the Dino Centre Button or Dino Scanner Button. Press the glowing button to confirm your selection.
Quiz
Find as many dinosaurs or prehistoric creatures as you can with this fun timed quiz. Twist the cube, and when you think you have the right answer, press the Dino Scanner Button. Make sure the dinosaur you think is the right answer is beneath the Dino Scanner Button before pressing the button.
Hand Strap Attachment
- Locate the thread loop on the end of the strap. Insert it into the Hand Strap Hole and push through.
- Feed the end of the strap up through the loop and pull it all the way through.
- Pull gently to ensure the loop is securely tightened around the Wrist Strap Hole.
Diagram Description: Diagram 1 shows the thread loop of the hand strap being inserted into the Hand Strap Hole on the cube. Diagram 2 shows the strap being pulled through the loop to secure it.
Care & Maintenance
- Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
- Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources.
- Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
- Do not drop the unit on a hard surface and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.
Troubleshooting
If a unit loses connection, stops working, or malfunctions, please follow these steps:
- Turn the unit Off.
- Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
- Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
- Turn the unit On. The unit should now be ready to use again.
- If the unit still does not work, install a new set of batteries.
