Please read this user manual and all accompanying documents carefully before use and keep them for future reference. If you pass the appliance to another person, include the manual. Follow all instructions and warnings.

This appliance is manufactured in environmentally friendly modern plants. It complies with WEEE regulations and does not contain PCB.
1 Important Safety and Environmental Instructions
1.1 General Safety
Read and keep these safety instructions for future reference. They provide guidance to protect against risks of fire, electric shock, microwave energy leakage, personal injury, or property damage. Failure to follow these instructions voids any warranty.
- Beko products comply with applicable safety standards. Any damage to the appliance or power cable must be repaired or replaced by an authorized dealer, service center, or specialist to avoid danger. Faulty or unqualified repairs can be dangerous.
- This appliance is intended for household and similar applications, such as: staff kitchens in shops/offices, farm houses, hotels, residential environments, and bed & breakfast establishments.
- Operate the appliance only for its intended purpose as described in this manual.
- The manufacturer is not liable for damages resulting from improper installation or misuse.
- The appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience/knowledge, if they are supervised or have received instruction on safe use and understand the hazards.
- Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.
- The minimum distance between the cooking vessel support surface on the hob and the lowest part of the product must be at least 65 cm. If gas hob installation instructions specify a greater distance, adhere to that.
- Ensure your mains power supply complies with the rating plate information.
- Never use the appliance if the power cable or appliance itself is damaged.
- Prevent damage to the power cable by avoiding pinching, bending, or rubbing it on sharp edges. Keep the cable away from hot surfaces and naked flame.
- Use the appliance with a grounded outlet only.
- WARNING: Do not connect the appliance to the mains until installation is fully complete.
- Place the appliance so the plug is always accessible.
- Do not touch the lamps if they have operated for a long time, as they can burn your hands.
- Follow competent authorities' regulations on exhaust air discharge (this warning does not apply to flueless use).
- Operate the appliance after placing a pot, pan, etc., on the hob. Otherwise, high heat may cause deformation.
- Turn off the hob before removing pots/pans.
- Do not leave hot oil on the hob; pans with hot oil may cause self-combustion.
- Be mindful of curtains and covers, as oil can ignite during cooking (e.g., fries).
- Grease filters must be cleaned at least monthly. Carbon filters must be replaced at least every 3 months.
- Clean the product according to the user manual. Failure to do so may pose a fire risk.
- Do not use non-fire-resistant filtering materials.
- Only use original or manufacturer-recommended parts.
- Do not operate the product without filters, and do not remove filters while the product is running.
- In case of fire, de-energize the product and cooking appliances.
- In case of fire, cover the flame and never use water to extinguish.
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning and when not in use.
- The negative pressure in the environment should not exceed 4 Pa (4 x 10 bar) when the hood and other appliances operate simultaneously.
- Ensure exhaust from fuel oil or gas appliances (like room heaters) is isolated or use a hermetic appliance.
- For flue connection, use pipes with a 120 or 150 mm diameter. Keep pipe connections as short as possible with minimal elbows.
- Danger of choking: Keep all packaging materials away from children.
- CAUTION: Accessible parts may become hot when used with cooking appliances.
- The product outlet must not be connected to air channels that include other smoke.
- Room ventilation may be insufficient when the hood is used simultaneously with gas or other fuel appliances (this may not apply to appliances that only recirculate air).
- Objects placed on the product may fall; do not place objects on it.
- Do not flambé food under the product.
- WARNING: Before installing the Hood, remove the protective films.
- Never leave high naked flames under the hood when it is in operation.
- Deep fat fryers must be continuously monitored during use; overheated oil can burst into flames.
1.2 Compliance with the WEEE Directive and Disposing of the Waste Product
This product complies with EU WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU) and bears the WEEE symbol. This indicates it should not be disposed of with household waste. Used devices must be returned to official collection points for recycling. Contact local authorities or retailers for collection systems. Proper disposal helps prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health.
1.3 Compliance with RoHS Directive
This product complies with EU RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU) and does not contain harmful or prohibited materials.
1.4 Package Information
Packaging materials are manufactured from recyclable materials according to national environmental regulations. Do not dispose of packaging with household or other waste; take it to local collection points designated by authorities.

3 Using the Appliance
3.1 Use of the Rocker Switch
The hood features mechanical controls:
- Press "V1" for minimum speed.
- Press "V2" for average speed.
- Press "V3" for maximum speed (higher speed means more airflow).
- Press "L" to turn the lights on/off.
You can start the hood by pressing the desired speed level key (V1, V2, V3). You can illuminate the cooking area by pressing the light key L.
3.2 Things to Do for Energy Saving
- Ensure sufficient air intake for efficient operation and low noise during cooking.
- Adjust the fan level based on kitchen steam density; use high levels only when needed for less energy consumption.
- If dense smoke is expected, select a higher fan level in advance and operate the hood longer to clear the smoke.
- Turn off the hood when not in use.
- Clean or replace filters at stated intervals to maintain ventilation efficiency and eliminate fire risk.
3.3 Operating the Hood
The hood is equipped with a motor offering various speed settings. For better performance, use low speeds in normal conditions and high speeds when smells and vapors are intensified.
3.4 Lamp Replacement
For CWB 6441 XN models (Max: 28 W):
Disconnect the hood from the mains supply. This appliance is equipped with 28 W spot LED lamps.

4 Cleaning and Maintenance
The charcoal filter is non-washable and non-regenerable; it must be replaced approximately every 3 months of operation, or more frequently for heavy use (W).
Aluminium grease filters should be cleaned monthly and can be washed in the dishwasher (Z).
Clean the hood using a damp cloth and a neutral liquid detergent.
5 Setting Up the Device

6 Troubleshooting

Terms and Conditions:
- This card and sales invoice must be presented upon any service.
- Warranty starts from the date of purchase invoice. If no proof of purchase date is available, warranty starts a maximum of 6 months from the production date.
- Warranty covers spare parts, repair fees, inspection fees, examination fees, service center representative transportation, and unit transportation fees for repair purposes from customer to service center and back.
- Warranty is valid for product home use only and does not cover commercial use.
- This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, accident, or non-compliance with the User Instruction Manual.
- This warranty is void if the unit was opened or repaired at any unauthorized service center.
- This warranty does not cover: Cabinet, Lamps, Control Knobs, Glass parts.
- This warranty is void if this card is lost or fabricated by any means.
- This warranty card does not cover product installation visits; a separate fee applies.
