3.4 AC Charging
X-Stream is an AC fast charge technology that recharges your portable power station at the fastest speed possible. For slower, quieter charging, download the EcoFlow app and enable Slow Charging. The unit will shut down if the AC input current exceeds 10A for an extended period. The Overload Protection Switch will need to be pressed before powering the unit back on.
Note: Please do not use this product when the AC input current exceeds 10A. Please do not charge and discharge at the same time when the AC power exceeds 600W.
Charging Time: Less than 2 hours for a full charge using X-Stream Fast Charging (660W Max input Power).
If the external flexible cord of this inverter is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent. Please use the AC charging cable for fast charging. EcoFlow is not responsible for any consequences caused by failures to follow instructions, including but not limited to charging with the AC charging cable.
3.5 Solar Charging
Users can connect solar panels in series to recharge the product. Ensure the solar panel's output voltage is within the specified range to avoid product damage.
*Solar charging cable (MC4-XT60 adapter cable) is supplied separately.
When using an EcoFlow solar panel, follow the instructions provided with the solar panel.
3.6 Car Charging
Recharge the product through the Car Charging Input Port. Charge after starting the car to avoid draining the car battery. Ensure the Car Charging Input Port and the Car Charging Cable are in good condition. EcoFlow is not responsible for any losses or damages caused by failures to follow instructions.
3.7 APP
The EcoFlow App allows remote control and monitoring of EcoFlow power stations. Read the user guide and download the app from: https://ecoflow.com/pages/ecoflow-app.
Privacy Policy: By using EcoFlow Products, Applications, and Services, you consent to the EcoFlow Term of Use and Privacy Policy, accessible via the "About" section of the "User" page on the EcoFlow App or on the official EcoFlow website at https://ecoflow.com/pages/terms-of-use and https://ecoflow.com/pages/privacy-policy.
3.8 X-Boost
To prevent operation failure due to overload protection, the X-Boost feature automatically enables when the total output exceeds the rated output power, allowing the product to power high-wattage appliances.
X-Boost Tips:
- X-Boost is enabled by default; it can be enabled or disabled in the EcoFlow App.
- X-Boost is not available when the AC output is in a recharging state (bypass mode) and when X-Boost is disabled.
- X-Boost is not applicable for all electrical appliances, especially those with strict voltage requirements or voltage protection (like precise instruments). X-Boost mode is more suitable for heating devices. Test your devices with X-Boost enabled.
3.9 Emergency Power Supply (EPS)
The product supports EPS. When grid power is connected to the AC Input Port via an AC Charging cable, electrical devices can be powered through the AC Output Sockets. In case of a sudden blackout, the product automatically switches to battery power within 30ms. This basic UPS function does not support 0ms switching. Do not connect devices requiring 0ms UPS, such as data servers and workstations. Test compatibility before use. It is recommended to charge only one device at a time to avoid overload protection. EcoFlow is not responsible for any device failures or data losses caused by failures to follow instructions.
3.10 Extra Battery Connection
To connect the RIVER Pro with a RIVER Pro Extra Battery, ensure both units are powered off. Follow these steps:
- Open the Expansion Port cover below the AC port on the RIVER Pro to access the Expansion Power Port. Connect the Expansion Power Cable and tighten the screws on both sides of the port.
- Open the Expansion Port cover on the RIVER Pro Extra Battery and connect the other end of the Expansion Power Cable to its Expansion Power Port. Tighten the screws.
- Turn on the power button of either the RIVER Pro or the RIVER Pro Extra Battery. If the RIVER Pro display shows the extra battery icon, the connection is successful. Fully charge both products for the first time and ensure voltage consistency for optimal performance.
* The Expansion Power Cable is not included in the package and comes only with the RIVER Pro Extra Battery.
