Operation and safety notes
Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high-quality product. The instructions for use are a part of this product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all the operating and safety instructions. The product must only be used as described and for the specified fields of application. When passing this product on to third parties, please be sure to include all documentation.
Intended use
This product is suitable for lighting in dry indoor environments. It features a motion detector which can automatically switch the light on and off in the dark when motion is detected. The product is intended for private use only and is not intended for commercial use or for use in other applications.

General safety instructions
PLEASE KEEP ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND INSTRUC TIONS FOR USE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE!
This product may be used by children aged 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or lacking experience and/or knowledge, so long as they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and understand the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.
CAUTION! RISK OF OVER HEATING! Never cover the product during operation!
This product does not contain any parts that can be serviced by the user. The LEDs cannot be replaced by end user. The illuminants are not replaceable. If the illuminants fail at the end of their life, the entire product must be replaced.
CAUTION! RISK OF PRODUCT DAMAGE! Keep the product away from moisture! Do not place burning candles or open fire on or near the product. Do not use the product near heat sources such as radiators or devices emitting heat.
Safety instructions for batteries/rechargeable batteries
DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention. Swallowing may lead to burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion.
DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries/rechargeable batteries and/or open them. Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result. Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries into fire or water. Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries/rechargeable batteries.
Risk of leakage of batteries/rechargeable batteries Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators/direct sunlight. If batteries/rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention!
WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.
This product has a built-in rechargeable battery which cannot be replaced by the user. The removal or replacement of the rechargeable battery may only be carried out by the manufacturer or his customer service or by a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards. When disposing of the product, it should be noted that this product contains a rechargeable battery.
Before use
Charging the product
Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product. Make sure the product is switched off for charging.
Note: You can recharge the product by using the USB cable 4 provided with the specified input voltage and current (see “Technical data”).
Insert the Micro USB plug of the USB cable 4 into USB input socket (Type C) 5 of the product. Then insert the USB plug of the USB cable 4 into the USB port on USB power supply.
Note: Pay attention to the distance between the lamp and USB power supply because USB cable 4 length is 30cm.
Note: During charging, the charging indicator 2 lights up red. When charging is complete, the charging indicator 2 lights up green (HG08615A/HG08615B). When the charging indicator 2 is green (HG08615A/HG08615B), pull out the USB cable 4 from the USB input socket (Type C) 5 of the product to prevent the rechargeable battery from discharging.
Note: Fully charged the battery before storage. If you want to store the product for longer than 3 months, fully charged the battery every 3 months.
Use
The product has three mode settings, you can slide the switch 6 into the desired position (see Fig. A). The available functions are:
- Position ON: The product is always on.
- Position OFF: The product is always off.
- Position AUTO: In the dark, the product will automatically switch on when motion is detected. The product switches off automatically after approx. 30 seconds if no further movement is detected. Please refer to “Technical data” for details on the detection range and angle. Please note, in this position the product will also use energy if the light is off.
Fixing the product
The product can be fixed by two ways:
- You can mount the product on the wall (see Fig. B):
Note: You will need an electric drill to install the product.
CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Refer to the operating instructions for your electric drill. Ensure that you do not damage any cables in the wall.
Note: The enclosed mounting material is suitable for mounting to masonry. Other wall substrates may require other fastening materials. Seek specialist advice when in doubt.
Use the holes of the magnetic mounting bracket (HG08615A)/magnetic mounting brackets (HG08615B) 8 intended for the screws 9 to mark the drill holes. Before drilling the fixing holes, ensure there are no gas, water or electrical lines that could be drilled into or damaged in the area where you will be drilling. Now drill the fixing holes (Ø 6mm, depth approx. 24mm). Insert the dowels 7 into the drill holes (Fig. B). Attach the magnetic mounting bracket (HG08615A)/magnetic mounting brackets (HG08615B) 8 using the screws 9 provided. Make sure the screwheads are completely inserted into the slots of the magnetic mounting bracket (HG08615A)/magnetic mounting brackets (HG08615B) 8 (Fig. B). Attach the LED light 1 to the secured magnetic mounting bracket (HG08615A)/magnetic mounting brackets (HG08615B) 8 (Fig. C). Ensure the LED light 1 is correctly seated (Fig. C).
- Attach the LED light 1 to the magnetic mounting bracket (HG08615A)/magnetic mounting brackets (HG08615B) 8 (Fig. D). Pull the protective film from the double-sided adhesive pad 10 of the magnetic mounting bracket (HG08615A)/magnetic mounting brackets (HG08615B) 8 (Fig. E). Then press the product firmly on to a clean, level and dry surface. Ensure the LED light 1 is correctly seated (Fig. F). Note: If the double-sided adhesive pad 10 has been in place for a long time, sticky residue may remain on the surface when removed. If necessary, use an adhesive remover. Test a small area prior to cleaning the respective area. Follow the manufacture instructions.
Cleaning and care
Use a dry cloth to clean the product - never use petrol, solvents or cleaners that attack plastic. Do not clean the product with water or other liquids.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plastics/20–22: paper and fibreboard/80–98: composite materials.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.
To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.
The product incl. accessories and packaging materials are recyclable and are subject to extended producer responsibility. Dispose them separately, following the illustrated Info-tri (sorting information), for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.
Faulty or used batteries/rechargeable batteries must be recycled. Return the batteries/rechargeable batteries and the product to the available collection points.
Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries/rechargeable batteries!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries/rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.
Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of material or manufacturing defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Keep the original sales receipt in a safe location as this document is required as proof of purchase.
Any damage or defects already present at the time of purchase must be reported without delay after unpacking the product.
Should the product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. The warranty period is not extended as a result of a claim being granted. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear and tear, thus considered consumables (e.g. batteries, tubes, cartridges), nor damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches or glass parts. For this product, the rechargeable battery is also covered by its warranty period.
Warranty claim procedure
To ensure quick processing of your case, please observe the following instructions:
Please have the till receipt and the item number (IAN 465293_2404) available as proof of purchase. You will find the item number on the rating plate, an engraving on the front page of the instructions for use (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the product.
If functional or other defects occur, please contact the service department listed either by telephone or by e-mail.
You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the service address that will be provided to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase (till receipt) and information about what the defect is and when it occurred.
