Remove the spark plug cover from the valve cover · Pull on the area where the spark plug wires traverse through the plasc, pull out and forward 2 IRM Moto Sparky Peg Installaon Instrucons 2. Remove the clasp that holds the sheathing loom to the ignion coil · The clip will replace this funconality 3. Select the correct assembly for each side 4. Using a 7/64" Allen key, remove the (x4) 6-32 bolts holding the retaining clip onto the Sparky assembly · Take note of the orientaon of retainer clip for assembly later 5. Place the Sparky Peg retaining clip into the valve cover from the back, then slide it forward unl it hits the stop. · Noce the orientaon of the retaining clip 6. Place the Sparky Peg into the valve cover 3 IRM Moto Sparky Peg Installaon Instrucons 7. Using (x4) 6-32 bolts, atach the retaining clip to the Sparky Peg · Use threadlocker · Tighten bolts in a cross patern to ensure proper peg fit · When bolts are ght there will sll be space between the retaining clip and the mount, do not connue to ghten to try to eliminate this gap and strip the threads 8. Repeat for the other side 9. Reghten aer the first ride Care and Maintenance 1. Periodically check the ghtness of the retaining clip bolts 2. Apply grease to the pivot and detent mechanism regularly 4
