Warning! Refer to Safety chapters.
What pots to use
Only use cookware suitable for induction hobs, made of ferromagnetic material, such as:
- Cast iron
- Enamelled steel
- Carbon steel
- Stainless steel (most types)
- Aluminium with ferromagnetic coating or plate
To determine suitability, check for the ? symbol on the cookware bottom or test with a magnet. If it clings, it will work.
Use pots and pans with flat bottoms for even heat distribution. Uneven bottoms affect power and heat conduction.
How to use
Minimum diameter of pot / pan base for different cooking areas:
Cooking zone | Cookware diameter [mm] |
---|---|
Left rear | 125 - 145 |
Left front | 145 - 180 |

Care and cleaning
General information
- Warning! Switch off the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning.
- Warning! For safety reasons, do not clean with steam blasters or high-pressure cleaners.
- Warning! Sharp objects and abrasive cleaning agents will damage the appliance. Clean with water and dish soap after each use. Remove cleaning agent remnants.
- Scratches or dark stains on glass ceramic that cannot be removed do not affect the appliance's function.
Hints / tips: Noises during cooking
A cooking zone may hum briefly when active. This is normal for ceramic glass zones and does not affect function or lifespan. Noise depends on cookware. Changing cookware may help if noise is disturbing.
Removing the residues and stubborn residues
Remove food containing sugar, plastics, or tin foil residues immediately. A scraper (not supplied) is best for cleaning the glass surface. Place scraper at an angle and slide to remove residues. Clean with a damp cloth and dish soap. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
Limescale rings, water rings, fat splashes, or shiny metallic discolourations should be removed after cooling. Use a specialised cleaner for glass ceramic or stainless steel.
