Welcome to the DJI Agras T20 Quick Start Guide. This document provides essential information to help users quickly set up and operate the DJI Agras T20 agricultural drone. Discover the aircraft's advanced features, understand the remote controller's functions, and learn about crucial safety guidelines for effective and safe operation.
Key Features
The DJI Agras T20 boasts a new design with a foldable frame and a quick-release spray tank and flight battery for easy handling and storage. It integrates a modular aerial-electronics system with a dedicated industrial flight controller, OCUSYNC™ 2.0 HD transmission system, and RTK module. The aircraft features dual IMUs and barometers for enhanced flight stability and a redundant propulsion control system. Its GNSS+RTK dual-redundancy system ensures centimeter-level positioning accuracy, while dual-antenna technology provides resistance against magnetic interference. The upgraded spraying system includes a 4-channel electromagnetic flow meter for consistent spraying. The new-generation omnidirectional digital radar offers terrain following and obstacle sensing capabilities, complemented by a wide-angle FPV camera for clear visibility.
Remote Controller
The Smart Controller 2.0 features a 5.5-inch bright screen with the DJI Agras app pre-installed. It supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, offering a control distance of up to 3 km. The Multi-Aircraft Control mode allows coordination of up to five aircraft simultaneously. Both the built-in and external batteries can power the controller, providing up to 4 hours of working time.
Safety First
Adhering to safety guidelines is paramount for protecting both the operator and those around. Always maintain visual line of sight (VLOS) with the aircraft, fly in open areas away from people and obstacles, and monitor altitude in accordance with local regulations. Avoid spraying in winds exceeding 18 kph and in adverse weather conditions. Ensure a strong GNSS signal and unobstructed D-RTK antennas during operation. Familiarize yourself with the Return to Home (RTH) functions and pesticide usage precautions.
Specifications Overview
The Agras T20 has a max diagonal wheelbase of 1883 mm and a max takeoff weight of 45.5 kg. Its spraying system includes a 15.1 L spray tank and supports various nozzle models for different spray rates and widths. The omnidirectional digital radar operates at 24150MHz, with an altitude detection range of 1-30 m and an obstacle sensing range of 1.5-30 m. The aircraft has an IP67 rating for its aerial-electronics system, spray control system, propulsion ESC system, and radar module.
Getting Started
Prepare the Intelligent Flight Battery and the aircraft by unfolding arms and attaching propellers. Charge the remote controller's batteries. Adjust the antennas for optimal signal strength. Before takeoff, ensure the aircraft is on flat ground, all components are securely mounted, and the spray tank is filled. Power on the remote controller and aircraft, and activate the aircraft using the DJI Agras app if it's the first use.
Operations and Maintenance
The DJI Agras app facilitates field planning by setting waypoints and obstacles. Users can perform operations using manual or automated flight routes. Regular maintenance, including cleaning the aircraft and remote controller after each use, is crucial for longevity. Refer to the user manual for detailed information on operation modes, advanced functions, and maintenance procedures. For more information, visit www.dji.com/t20.
