nVent RackChiller RDHX PRO Active, Right Hinged, 42U, 600W

The nVent RackChiller RDHX PRO Active is a rear door cooling unit offered in standard sizes for 42U and 47U racks, with 600mm and 800mm widths. These units are 250mm deep and weigh under 170Kg. Rear door coolers are compact, requiring no additional floor space or ceiling headroom, and can eliminate the need for CRAH units and other room cooling equipment in data centers.

Each unit is equipped with 12 axial brushless DC fans, designed for reduced stress on components and increased lifecycle. For maintenance, nVent has implemented an innovative, tool-less, hot-swappable system for fan replacement, as well as for other critical components like PSUs and the main controller. This design maximizes uptime and reduces service costs.

The rear door cooler can also be retrofitted to most third-party racks. It offers the smallest footprint of any rear door cooler on the market with the highest kilowatt cooling capacity.

ADDITIONAL PRODUCT DETAILS

For trouble-free operation of the air/liquid heat exchanger, the quality requirements of the coolant must be maintained. The selection of appropriate anti-corrosion and frost protection agents depends on the environment in which the unit is used and on the external chiller.

At coolant temperatures below 14 °C, there is an increased risk of condensation. nVent recommends using a condensate management package.
