Reacher - large

1. Intended Use

The reacher allows users to pick up items situated too high or too low, such as those in a closet or on the floor, without needing to bend or stretch. By lightly squeezing the handle, the gripper closes around the object. It is suitable for holding small and lightweight items, including remote controls, magazines, and keys.

2. Risks & Warnings

VITILITY's risk management has evaluated all risks, concluding that the residual risk is as low as reasonably possible.

2.1 Safety Guidelines

Please ensure the product is in a faultless condition before use.

2.2 Potential Risks

• Cut or Pinch Hazard: There is a risk of cuts or pinching injuries when contacting moving or sharp parts.
• Use by Young Children: This product is not suitable for children under 6 years. Use is only allowed under strict adult supervision to prevent possible dangers or misuse.

2.3 Warnings

The product must be replaced if required by one or more of the following criteria:

• Do not use if the product is damaged.
• The user's general condition is an important part of the risk assessment.

2.4 Precautions

• People with self-harming behavior should not be left alone with the product.

3. Warranty

This product comes with a 12-month warranty. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase (as shown on the purchase receipt). During the warranty period, you can submit any complaints about a defective VITILITY product to your dealer or to the specified service address. VITILITY will repair all defects due to faulty materials or operation free of charge during this period. Improper handling, falls, impacts, and similar issues are excluded from the warranty. A new warranty period does not start if the product is repaired or exchanged; the original 12-month warranty period from the purchase date continues unchanged. Any warranty expires in the event of non-compliance, such as use other than as intended, or repairs and alterations made to the head protector or its components by unauthorized people.

5. Serious Incident Report

In the event of serious incidents related to the use of the device, report them promptly to your local dealer and the national competent authority. The local dealer will forward the information to the manufacturer.
